The psychology of society, especially in terms of mental perceptions and ideas. Most likely sociology, or just the study of collectives of individuals, as well as what propels and moves them. Finally, history of some kind, as this is simply a narrative of the previous two, wrapped up in tales of valor, displays of ignorance, and exceptions of expectations.
