When I was in school, I was kicked out for being trans.

At work my bosses know, one of em still messes up from time to time with pronouns, but it's all cool.

I'm still working things out with my gender, so I've only told one of my friends about that. I'm out about my sexuality to many of my friends but I don't see any reason to make a big show of coming out publicly. If someone I didn't know very well at my school was to ask me my orientation I would tell them the truth.

Three people know at work. My best friend at work, the leader of the GSA, and the head counselor.

Otherwise no. I'm not out to the whole school.

Gender - No, I'm waiting for university since I've only got 6 more weeks left of school.
Sexuality - I haven't explicitly said anything, but I don't hide it either.

It would be impossible to work in my field and be out (electrical construction related). I'm not out to anyone yet, but it'll never be able to happen at work.

Yeah, I WAS out at high school (I graduated recently), but I didn't come out to a lot of people, only close friends and others, who I had to tell to clear some confusion up. But I wouldn't hide it if someone asked if I was a lesbian. The only people I don't tell are my parents though.

It's very complicated. I'm a college student and out to about 10-15 people. They are all close people in my life and I don't think they have told other people. I have received nothing but support.

The workplace is more difficult. I'm a substitute teacher in my town which makes coming out very complicated. I hope to get a job in the school district and my parents believe coming out could hurt my chances. If it was up to me and my career was not affected, I would be publicly out by next month. However, the whole situation just makes everything really tough.

The three friends that I am out to go to my school, and anyone else who wants to know (and who won't be obnoxious about about it) will be told.

I'm not out at work, because I don't trust a certain assistant manager. I can see him being very homophobic, and I don't want someone who has the ability to affect my career knowing and not liking me. No one likes him though, and it seems like our general manager is trying to get rid of him. If he goes, I'll definitely come out.

I plan to be out at school when I start at the community college in fall. I'm definitely going to join GSA there.

I chose other because I have came out to my therapist, mom and grandma.

Thankfully my mom is very accepting

(School) Anyways I don't plan on telling anyone else around here anytime soon though as the only time the word "gay" comes up is when someone asks a new guy (if he is feminine or even hyper) if they are gay. Other then that you never hear gay. Also I have NEVER EVER heard lgbt, queer, lesbian, etc. at my school. Just gay. And that is rarely.

Anyhow what I am trying to say is that since it is a insanely taboo topic and no one at my school is known to be lgbt+ I don't feel like it would be a good idea to come out.

Oh and also I am for sure not ready to tell my other family members.

Only dropped hints to one of my gay co-workers. I just don't need more barriers and paranoia at work. I already am one of those people who thinks people talk behind my back.

I feel that's it's very, very obvious. Anyone who is remotely close to me most likely knows if I haven't told them yet. I'm very fortunate to live in a town that is very accepting of LGBTQ members, which is a big reason as to why I'm so comfortable with being out.
Sorry about your homophobic boss :/ It really hurts when people are hateful :tears:

I try to tell people at school if something related to it comes up, by most people don't know yet

I guess so? I would say I am gay if someone asked, but they rarely do, so people assume I'm straight until I correct them.

People frequently ask if my best male friend is my boyfriend. >.< Then it goes like this:
Him: I wish she was my girlfriend... But she's a lesbian.
Me: *nods* Yup. Never gonna happen.

A few people in school are aware of my (lack of) sexuality.

I can't say I've tried to hide it (how would I anyway?) but I leave people to draw their own conclusions. I guess this would fall under the "Yes - I don't hide it for anybody" category"?

I'm out with my orientation, but not my gender >.<
It can make for some.... Irritating moments when addressed as male. ALL DAY LONG

Some people that I used to be friends with at my school know that I am queer/lesbian, yet sadly, I no longer speak to them. I came out to three of my younger cousins (who are only slightly-younger than myself) three years ago, yet none of them seem to remember me telling them and had teased me about liking boys and having a boyfriend since then.

I am glad to see how many people are out at work/school.

Maybe someday I can be too
