Anyone who watches anime out there?

I don't know what makes someone an otakus so I can't say I am one, but I certainly love anime <3

 

I do, and I have a crud ton of favorites aha. Anything ranging from Romance, to Mecca, to Action, to Yaoi, ect aha:icon_bigg

 

Usually if it's super natural or action I'm there!

 

erm....no way do I refer to myself as an otaku. That's an insult in Japanese culture which basically means "someone with severely poorly developed social skills" I don't know why so many American anime fans call themselves otaku.

That said, I DO like certain types of anime...but only ones with a serious bent. I can't stand the goofy, childish humor found in a lot of animes.

Cowboy Bebop
Blood+
Serial Experiment Lain (good GOD this is a good series)
Ergo Proxy

I watch some, not a whole lot, but I love it. However, there are also a lot of series that I tried to get into, but just couldn't for whatever reason. Samurai 7 is one of my favorites.

 

Movies or the show? I'm pretty much in love with the Ghost in the Shell movies

 

Both but like yourself, I thought the movies were far superior.

 

The movies were great

I especially loved 'The laughing man'
