    I like metal :slight_smile: j especially like Slipknot and Suicide Silence, and stuff like that. I'm always open to hearing new stuff though.

    I used to be very very very into metal when I was younger, I've kind of toned down a bit now but I still listen to a lot of the music I used to, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE Nightwish. I like some of the classic bands as well... Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and the like.

    I don't like a special type of metal but I can say that I hate black metal and the typical heavy metal.
    I'm also more into some metalcore or deathcore stuff, but I think that counts too :wink:

    So from this whole metal area here a some of my favorites: Slipknot, Jinjer, Eskimo Callboy, Sonic Syndicate, The Agonist, Arch Enemy, Asking Alexandria, Ill Nino, Korn, Korpiklaani, ...

    I'm mostly into progressive/death metal, like Opeth, Cynic, Enslaved, Textures, and fusion-y stuff like Exivious. Right now I'm going through a serious Gojira phase ^^

    Metal is about 85% of what I listen to. Top bands: Pantera, Slipknot, Mudvayne, White/Rob Zombie, Disturbed, Godsmack, Korpiklaani, Cradle of Filth, Betzefer, and Nun Slaughter. And I agree, it does seem like there aren't a ton of gay metalheads, BUT we have Rob Halford.

    Power metal is my lifeblood. Sonata Arctica, Stratovarius, Heavenly, those are my favorites. Also, Lamb of God is excellent at least as far as instrumentals go.

    Metal with a celtic vibe can be just as great, I recommend Eluveitie and Nightwish too, but for the ultimate in celtic metal, look up the Fairy Tail OST.

    I like rammstein. Alot. Sometimes listen to babymetal for a laugh. Other than that the closest thing to metal in my music taste is AWOLnation.

    Oh yeah, I listen to Amon Amarth occasionaly, as well as the classics like black sabbath.
