I like poetry, I love to write it and I have always used to to vent or create something beautiful. I was just wondering if anyone has a good poem either one of your own or from someone famous it doesn't matter. It could be long or short, though I do like a good deep depressing poem. So go wild

If a poem about coming out is limiting then any poem that you hold close to your or words to live by will do.

Nice job, I liked how you talked about almost trying to escape the pain and all the confusion but knowing in the end that one day it'll be better with clarity. It reminds me of one I wrote about trying to escape my hometown it goes like this / Deserts of memory baren with sparse intervals of recognition

I search for purpose in conformity yet my being lies in rebellious rapture.

Within a casket cocoon is where I dwell, I must escape my comforting confines.

I am limited by my experience and age, while my goals are nearing, I find myself fearing, all that lies in the unknown.

Staring my prophet in the face my worship will not go unheard, pending are the prayers that I have cast

Melancholy memories tainted by time, memento mori whispers the wind, I must escape and evade this lotus flower life I live,/

Great job, thanks for sharing your poem!

I don't have a coming out poem, but I do have a Christmas/Holiday poem that I wrote and have been eager to share.

    Scenes From A Shopping Mall:
'Twas the Saturday before Christimas and all through Kenwood Town
Not a single soccer mom had time to sit down

Their big-ass-UV's made a lond honkning sound
As not a single parking space was there to be found

Filling their bags with gifts for the kids
Can be so stressful, I think some might flip their lids

The kids gave their last minute wishes while on Santa's lap
While dad would give anything just to take a nap

While one mom snatched the last toy with a fight
She said "Merry Christmas to all", while another "F-U and good night"
