Fellow vegan over here (!)
Nope. I don't see anything wrong with eating meat in theory. However, in practice most of the meat comes from animals that haven't been cared for properly and live in disgusting conditions. We moved from small farms where people were more connected with their animals and had to give them proper conditions to keep them healthy to big factory farms where people don't even think of where their food comes from, and living things are treated as non-living. Also, 'ost people from developed countries eat too much meat. That said, I come from a family that eats quite a bit of meat and I still usually eat dinners with them. I personally won't stop eating meats even when I move out but I will try to find meat sourced from animals raised in better conditions. We already mostly eat organic meats because the animals are guaranteed at least a minimum set of conditions that are typically better than other types...
My mum wouldn't let me be vegan but I got half there. I don't consume dairy anyway so I'm pretty much there
Been Vegan for a whole month!:icon_bigg Everyone said it was just a phase and it would end quickly but to me, it's not a diet but a lifestyle.
It could be either, honestly. I have the vegan lifestyle though. Part if it is loving animals, the other part is because of health. I also just enjoy it.
I'm a vegetarian.
Of course it can be both. I live the vegan lifestyle as well, meaning I've cut all animal products out of my life completely and the products I use as far as personal health and such, all cruelty free and typically vegan.
I'm an ex-vegan, I was one for almost 7 years!
I was one for 2 days but it just wasn't working out.
I'm currently only vegetarian but after a job finally hires me I'm going to start buying my own food and be completely vegan.
