Drink lots of water and eat cucumber — cucumber hydrates better than plain water. I like the cool, I lie down on our cold bathroom floor.

I got drunk just a couple of time and I always felt bad the day after. You have to drink a lot of water, for the headache I take a light analgesic.

Gatorade. Advil/Motrin but NOT Tylenol--Tylenol messes up your liver when you have a lot of alcohol in your system. Eat a little something starchy like bread or a banana, and assuming you can hold that down go eat something filling.

I try to drink lots of water and find a dark room to lay down in until the misery passes. Usually with a trash bin nearby ... Needless to say drinking a lot is something I try to avoid. I just don't handle it well.

Water and ibuprofen. A caffeinated drink is good as well. Oh, and you can never go wrong with something greasy and disgusting - like a pizza.

I woke up with a hangover this morning, but I don't get bad ones anymore, unless I drink a lot.

Try and eat something, that usually helps. Bread should work. And drink a Coke if you're feeling nauseous.

Drink lots of water and try and sleep it off if you can.

Drink water and sleep. Coffee is really not your friend, despite what they say.

    Avoiding hangovers:

    1. Drink water while you're drinking alcohol.
    2. Drink water when you stopped drinking alcohol.
    3. Don't go to sleep to soon, but keep drinking water.

To avoid a hangover in the future, alternate drinking your ethanol with some water. Drink a beer, then a glass of water. Do a shot, glass of water. If you do anything at all, drink a big ass glass of water before you go to bed. Also, stick to "pure" alcohols like vodka as compared to tequila. The tequila has much more potential to give you a hangover the next morning.

As was said, no Tylenol during or even the day after drinking. Aspirin works well for me.

Hair of the dog is bullshit fyi.

Lots of sleep, keeping properly hydrated, a full meal and time are really the best remedies, in my experience.

Hangovers are why I don't like to drink. For me, it's not even the physiological symptoms so much as the fact that I get depressed.

I have the same issue. Not maybe immediately the day after, but in 3-4 days a tide of apathy hits me. I'm hesitant to call it depression, but I just feel bad.
