    Yes, this is something I have to remind myself of whenever I feel shame welling up about wanting to wear certain things or letting any femininity show. Really it sounds like all of y'all are a lot braver than me. I got a lot of "boys don't stand like that!", "boys do not sit like that! Uncross your legs!", "That isn't a toy for boys! Put it down!" when I was growing up. So it is hard for me to let go of that. Even when the things I desire to wear are not all that visible from the outside, shame and fear of rejection from those close to me stop me. However, it does make me feel good to know that those younger than me are facing less stigma and are more free to be themselves. Y'all all sound very fierce and I love it.
