"You're right, Quinn. If she doesn't need me, I don't need her." She hugged Robyn a little tighter before loosening her grip.
Robyn smiled. "Glad I could help." She said, then grabbed the rabbit corpse. "Anyone want some?" Rowan shook their head no. "I am fine with my fruit." They said, holding up the violet orb.
Quinn looked at the carcass with uncertainty, while Mab nodded. "I'll take some. I haven't had rabbit in forever."
Robyn put the carcass down and gathered a few sticks to start a fire. Once the fire was going, she skewered the rabbit and held it above the fire, cooking it.
Jotunbane looks up and suddenly feels another jolt of pain courses through his entire quadricep. "Agh.... I think we should find the other Gods and Divine beings...."
Robyn took the now-cooked rabbit carcass off the fire and cut a few pieces off of it. "Dig in!" She exclaimed, taking a huge bite of her piece.
Rowan looked away as Robyn munched on her rabbit. "Sorry," she said, shrugging, "but I'm hungry. And it really is good."
Mab nodded in agreement, mouth too full to speak. ---------- Post added 6th Jan 2016 at 07:26 PM ---------- "That'd be lovely," Melody told him with a smile.
Rowan finished their fruit and buried the pit in the ground, hoping it would one day grow into a tree. "I believe I shall practice with my dagger for a time." They said, standing up.
Robyn jumped up and summoned a ball of fire, ready to launch it at the hand breaking through the soil. Rowan looked over and, seeing the hand, rushed over to Quinn's side, holding out their dagger menacingly.
Rowan squeezed Quinn's hand and sent them what they hoped was a confident smile. I will not allow him to take them away, or anyone, for that matter.
