    You're so lucky. Daddy was known as a "nice guy" around town but with his undiagnosed diabetes (he was terrified to go to the doctor despite knowing something was wrong) he had a hair trigger temper and his beliefs were horrible... Looking back I see that now, although I did not at the time. I'd love to go back in time and slap sense into him even though I know it wouldn't work. He was too dang stubborn and too set in his toxic ways.

    In other news, it's pouring rain here. My cat has the right idea, she's sound asleep on her perch by my computer area. I wish I could join her, but I have work to do, book promos.

    I’m trying to figure out is it difficult for me to get to my feet from the floor because I’m 31 or is it the degenerative muscle condition I have? Or both.

    Another scene done in the manuscript I'm writing. One more PG rated scene, then it's to the blue-hot stuff. I'm not used to writing pure erotica so this should be interesting. I hope things flow easily when I get to the ultra steamy parts.

    Something really good happened to me this weekend and I’d like to share it with a close friend of mine but I know that I would just get judged for it - either overtly or she’d think it even if she wasn’t saying it. Why do people have to be closed-minded? Sorry, bit of a rant.

    My mother is driving me crazy, first she limits the amount of bread I’m allowed eat a day and now she’s limiting the amount of ham. She doesn’t seem to get I’m 31 and have my own money and I know I’m fat. She can say the pack she bought has to last me a week but what’s to stop me from buying more. I already try to hide what I eat from her. How would she feel if I limited her wine or chocolate. Or her vape usage.

    Snow? WOW! We got hit with over a foot of snow on Friday. I was out of town and almost got my truck stuck trying to get into my driveway when I came home...and I had it in 4-wheel drive low gear!

    I have cried so many times this week already. It's my worst week so far. Got troubles with lecturer who don't want to understand that I have no say in the matter, when I sometimes have to miss lecturs no matter how well I plan. You can't plan and predict everything in life, especially things regarding health. This course is almost finished, yet now I hate it, but I will complete it. Also my therapy appointment got moved forward, so did my physiotherapy appointmen, what I was preparing myself for. It all dissapointmed me and my workload have caused me so much stress.

    It finally started snowing here a few days ago, and it's been on the unpredictable on/off cycle since then. It's just my city's usual offbeat weather cycle's precursor; getting whatever weather whenever. Last few years we had dry Decembers, sunny Februaries, and snowstorms in March!
