    I may have had a secret crush on my childhood best friend, but I didn't really know it was a crush. Whenever we hung out I was always wanting play physically with him. I definitely had a crush on his sister, though.

    The first time I saw a guy and thought he was hot was skateboarder Ryan Sheckler. He had his own reality show at the time. I must have seen it while flipping channels. I had no real interest in skateboarding at the time.

    Although I didn't register it as a crush at the time, it was a girl in my 7th grade class. It was very short lived though. She was stunningly beautiful but had an ugly personality.

    Back before I knew I was trans, Hannah Hermione Greenwood. She's the keyboardist from my favourite band- Creeper.

    Scott S., a sixth grade boy who was a year older than me. I was still several years away from puberty and didn't know what I was feeling, but I knew this: I liked Scott more than anyone else and I wanted to be around him, all the time.

    I think my first "serious" (not just physical attraction) crush was the older brother of one of my classmates when I was in eighth grade. He was two years older and always seemed funny and friendly, not to mention also athletic and musical. Our families also went to the same church, so I often saw him there.

    High school made things even harder as I eventually was playing in orchestra with him, and I remember even getting the courage to call his house and ask a very cryptic question about whether he was into me. It was totally vague, and I quickly hung up after I realized he was confused. It has taken me a long time to get over him, and now he's married (to a girl).

    funny P.S. ... this post got my curiosity up so I looked Scott up on FB. He has a distinct last name so it was easy. Well... it's like this. Some people age well and some don't. :eek:

    Let's just say I don't have a crush on him today! :lol:
