    They don't want war, they (ISIS) want to dominate the world and take control of nation states so that they can enforce Islamic rule and execute with ease those who do not conform.

    War is merely the action they will have to use in cases to reach their goal, but if they can get a country to surrender easily by terrorist attacks and fear, they'll take that option.

    They don't care how they get what they want, they will do whatever is needed to achieve it.

    The whole situation is terrible.

    To the people trying to be muslim apologists, can you at least have enough respect to wait until everyone's had some time to grieve, or do you just not have souls?

    I absolutely agree. The terrorists in Paris are monsters. Can we all agree on that much? Nobody should be making excuses for what they're doing. Their motives will be crystal clear before too long. They're monsters, plain and simple; can we at least stand in agreement on that much?

    I know. Trust me, I'm not questioning that at all. I disagree with Islam like I do with every other religion.

    UPDATE: Reports are coming in now that the situation at the Bataclan is over and the two hostage-takers have been killed by police, but the death toll is still expected to rise over there because of what the terrorists have already done.

    Now reports are coming in from police that 100 people were killed in the Bataclan.

    100 people dead, just in that concert hall.
