I'm thinking meteor strike would be my choice, seems like the fastest way to die? I don't want to feel pain!

This sort of contradicts what I posted above but a close 2nd is getting attacked by a bear. That'd be poetically ironic for a few reasons.

Probably solar flare--not sure of the facts, but if it's powerful enough, I'd probably get an instant cremation. It'd clean up after itself! And you wouldn't have to pay thousands for a funeral! Morbid humor, I know...

I say solar flare because out of all of them, I feel like it would be the quickest way.

I choose mudslide, but now I'm leaning towards Puma attack; I think the adrenaline and thrill of being ripped apart by a large feline would be an interesting way to go, and perhaps due to the rush of adrenaline, may not be all that painful. Plus, I could also provide a nice, high protein meal! And, I'd be in the news...I mean, how many people in the US die of Puma attack?

Glad to see people are having so much fun with this.

I like to imagine each one happening to me, it sort of seems silly, and makes me laugh, to picture calamity upon calamity, to such an absurd degree.

I don't care which. If I'm certain to die, I don't care who I die, because by the time that I realise I'm dying, I'm dead.

I don't think you'd wanna be in a mudflow man, you'd die of traumatic asphyxia or worse get trapped by debris and die slowly of exposure and dehydration as the mud thickens.

As for getting mauled by a creature, I think survivors usually describe it as excruciatingly painful.. I know my cat likes playing with her food before she eats it.

Solar flare. You would die almost instantly... And some sick cannibal survivors could eat my charred dead body. Or asteroid or meteorite. I'm a pansycake coward so if it has to be a way to die quickly...

Maybe an earthquake. As a Californian, it's probably going to happen anyway...

They're overdue a big one - so Los Angeles and San Francisco could be reduced to rubble in the next 10 seconds, or 10 years. Who knows?

Assuming I don't die from complications after the lightening bolt hits and I'm sent to the hospital, it should be pretty quick.

I think alot of people survive getting struck by lightning though, you can't be too sure.
