Do you find it easy to shower in front of other people?

    Nope I am not comfortable at all with other people seeing my naked body. Don't worry, its pretty normal. :slight_smile:

    I've never liked showering with people, even back when I played basketball. I just waited till I got home.

    Never had to do it I don't think! At least to my memory. I don't think it would be a comfortable experience for me! I would try so hard to resist looking at the cute naked girls :eek: can't blame me though! x

    Never had to and hopefully never will. Then again I live in Britain so that's quite unlikely to happen. You'll be hard pressed to find any school kids over here willing to use a shared shower.

    I've done it loads of times. I still do now after every one of my karate training sessions. It doesn't bother me in the slightest.

    Well, in an attempt to work on my personal body image issues, I did take a shower at the gym today. This did require stripping down nude in the locker room in the presence of at least two other guys and walking over to the showers. I wouldn't say that I felt too awkward, but I just focused on what I was doing, not thinking about what they were doing or thinking. And guess what, nothing bad happened.

    I definitely feel a sense of accomplishment for finally having the guts to do this. (!)

    I was surprised that the showers are all individual, have plenty of room, and are pretty nice! They have body wash dispensers too.

    One more thing off the checklist. :thumbsup:

    Just no.
    I've never been comfortable with my body, and it doesn't help that I used to cut. I think that that caused most of my issues with my body. I still don't like to go around without a shirt on, because of that.

    I've never had to shower in front of people (or had the opportunity to) but I can't imagine it being a particularly great experience. I'd probably find it very difficult.

    The idea of me in a shower with a lot of naked boys is very uncomfortable... What if you're with boys you think are hot? What if they noticed your soldier standing straight? They will make fun of you for that... "Awkward" hehe Xd

    I used to have issues with showering in front of people due to scars (used to cut in my teens) now I'm a little older and less concerned about people looking, I'm good with it. My body isn't in bad shape regardless of the scars.

    so glad you were able to do that. i was never able to shower in front of anyone. my issue was that my outside doesn't reflect who i truly am. now years later, i still can't. wish i had your courage.
