I am a Rehab Therapist and often repair items such as splints, wheelchairs and various things. I usually get "you must be the man, because you can use tools." Um, duh! It's the 21st Century folks, woman are allowed to use them these days!

For us bi folks, when you end up with someone of the other gender, people say "oh your really straight then" or if you end up with someone of the same gender people say "oh, so you are really gay then". You know, the typical erasure type responses. Yes of course, we will end up with someone of the same or different gender. That doesn't change our experiences of attraction though, just because we are committed to a single person.

Also, people who think sexual activity and sexual orientation are the same thing.

    Happy days

One big pet peeve I have is people telling me not to worry about labeling myself. I really try to, but I always end up looking for a label anyways. :frowning2:

"So if you want to be male, then why do you still want to dress up as a female?"

"You said you wanted to be a guy. Why are you still wearing feminine clothes and makeup?"

"I don't think that I can call you by your new name. You've always been (insert my birth name here) to me."

And the most irritating: "If you want to be who you are, then why are you transitioning?"
