Update, I'm going to change the firma I work in... Finally!!!

It seems a good company, I need to relocate and the salary is good enough, with good chances to grow up there. Just perfect...
I'm very happy and excited about it

Well, I'm a full time student and I work part time at an aquarium on weekends. On winter break I work more days at the aquarium. And on summer break, I work more at the aquarium, volunteer with the husbandry department, and clean houses on my days off.

I've been unemployed since xmas, and I'm very happy about it. In autumn I worked in a horrible shop: I had no breaks, I didn't get along with my co-workers, I was often alone in the shop and in charge of everything for many hours, lots of junkies came in and stole stuff. I hated every day, woke up in the morning and cried cause I had to work and came home crying cause I had to go there again tomorrow. So I left that and found another job that lasted only for december though and since that I have been unemployed.

Anyway, I still wake up every morning with a smile on my face and I'm so happy I don't have to work in that shop anymore. If I had stayed in that work place I probably wouldn't be here writing this.

I am only 14, so I haven't looked for a job yet. I will start looking soon, but I am in no rush :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I gotta say that any internet group is a bit skewed, since we all have internet access (i.e., internet access => (some level of means OR some level of resourcefulness) => greater likelihood of employment than the general population).

I have two jobs, both animation. One I work from home though. I have a quota of frames to get done so I can spread my work time out a bit.

I'm employed. On the one hand, my boss and coworkers don't know I'm gay (my love life/lack thereof isn't something I discuss in a work environment obviously) but on the other hand they would most likely not care. My city is pretty progressive and I think discrimination based on sexuality is highly looked down upon. Most of my gay friends have jobs and those who don't aren't actively seeking them. However, I feel that it's a different story for my gender-nonconforming friends who are judged by people from the moment they walk through the door

Not yet, but I'm not tripping about it at my age. I have done things for pay before though, mostly tutoring.

Underemployed, as I'm working a call center job despite having a master's degree. (No, it's not in the humanities or social sciences.)

I do kind of like what I do, as I am providing a valuable service for a disadvantaged group, and knowing that I'm having an immediate positive effect on their lives is definitely gratifying. The job has decent benefits - very casual dress code and work atmosphere being among them - though the wage is (obviously) pretty low. I haven't succeeded at getting a promotion as of yet :icon_redf despite being there for almost 3 years, though I've gotten very close.
