Damn the 3d effects on that are nuts. If I wasn't such a wimp with pain I'd consider getting something.

Guys, guys, GUYS!!! ^_^ My therapist is talking about putting me on T soon! Of course, we're not rushing too much- My mom has to set me up for a flu shot and blood test and we have to see how I do with that before I get my letter of recommendation, but this is awesome! ^_^ Now, I really just need to make my final decision- Do I wan subcutaneous or intramuscular shots? I'm interested in subcutaneous, except I'm a little afraid since supposedly there's more estrogen conversion with that...

This happened a while ago, but it made me really happy, so I wanted to share it. I was walking into work, and held the door open for an older man. He said "Thank you, sir," This made me feel really good about myself, especially because I'm a lifeguard, and was in the 'uniform' that consists of a one-piece swimsuit and booty shorts.

While I have no real life support, when I see myself in the mirror lately I always clearly see myself as male. In fact, I think I'm shaping up to be a pretty okay looking bloke. Maybe I'm growing a self esteem, because I've never felt anything short of disgust for my appearance in the past. But knowing my identity has made me, mentally and emotionally, more whole and accepting of myself even though I'm still pre-T.

    So that's good.

I can relate to this. I mean, I feel dysphoria a lot of the time, but I still don't "hate" my body... Actually, I think I'm quite attractive and am thankful for that. :/ Still, I am excited to start testosterone. XD It's only know that the date's so close that I am feeling massive amounts of dysphoria, because I know it's not in me atm.

I was on a date. Waitress asked if we were splitting the check. So that means, to me, I passed enough that my date (non-binary but presents in public as a cis male) and I weren't construed as a hetero couple. Score!

Cause I mean with my last ex, I passed sometimes. But there'd be enough times I wouldn't pass at all to where at a restaurant, my ex would always be handed the bill. I'd pay for it. Dead name was on the card. So when the waitress went and handed it back, she'd actually shoot my ex a sort of dirty look like "why are you making your 'girlfriend' pay for it?"

Haven't posted on this thread yet. Time to change that! XD

I know this isn't really a big deal to most people, but I finally got the courage to actually go and spend a little bit of money on feminine clothes. I only spent like £45 quid, but it was enough to get a few cute shorts, a nice denim skirt, a brilliantly bright pink hoodie (I love it so much haha, wearing it right now ), a simple tank top and skinny jeans. It's not much, but it's a start. It just makes me so happy, I feel like I've actually 'begun' my transistion (even though clothes shouldn't really be a big deal) ^.^

P.S: Tucking is NOT a pleasant first time experience... But I made a gaff, so it's all good

    Two experiences to share:

I was at a party with my sister and a bunch of my sister's partner's relatives who I had never met. One came into the living room and saw me, did a double take, then went into the kitchen and I heard her ask "who's that kid in the front room?" My sister responded with "my sister, Hunter" and I heard the woman exclaim really loudly and say "oh my god, I'm so sorry, I thought that was a boy!" Massive self-esteem boost right there.

And the other day I was walking down a narrow sidewalk with my sister and niece and this guy pushing a huge suitcase stepped to the side into a driveway and said "c'mon ladies, you can pass" and I inwardly cringed, but as I walked past him he said "alright son, you have a good day" and I would like to think that means he was only referring to my sister and niece as ladies and I passed as male.

My fiancee called me him, I think. She kind of mumbled it like she wasn't sure if she should say it. She was playing with my dog and trying to get her to jump on me and said "Get 'im!" This would be the first time anyone IRL has ever referred to me with a male pronoun. At least she's trying. Dipping a toe in. It would really be nice if she would start at least attempting to use my name and pronouns, at least when we're alone, so I can get used to it. I think I will feel more male if at least one person would lol.

Talked to my sister about my sexuality. She already knew but we never really sat down and talk about it. We felt great afterwards.
I'm not very talkative when it comes to feelings so it was good for me that the chat went so well
