One of my best friends is helping me to get a binder because he knows my mom will flip out if I buy one.

I'm one step further to passing as a male. XD

My little sister uses my name in literally every sentence. And she was the one I was talking about that was crying over losing a sister. I told her she could call me whatever she wants, but she seems to have her heart set on getting it right. XD

At my family's beach house. Family's actually been really good about my name. Extended family's very liberal.

Talked to an old friend about transitioning in the future and it helped clear up some doubts I had. I know this is something I want and will do hopefully in the next couple years!

I came out to my best friend and she said "I'm totally cool with that! I actually suspected anyway." I'm so happy! I just wish that I had the guts to do it in person, but I'm too dependent on my pen and paper.

I had a sort of drunken conversation with my parents yesterday. It was pretty weird and I still can't decide whether it was a good thing or not.

In any case, my dad basically started crying when saying how proud he was of me but then he started crying even worse when he said that he'd be with me until the end and that he'd welcome "Alice" with open arms, but first he had to say goodbye to his son. He even talked about buying a plot at a cemetery for his son so he could get closure and welcome his daughter--it was a lot of mixed messages. At least he said he'd be one of the first to try and call me "Alice" and he felt that I should bring her out more.

My mother on the other hand thought my dad was being ridiculous with the whole cemetery plot thing, stating how I wasn't dead and was still the same person. She then went on how to say she wouldn't be calling me Alice until I looked the part more, which struck me as odd seeing how she's been super supportive normally.

The entire evening was full of mixed messages, but I think there's a victory in there somewhere.

It's hard to tell... She's little, and I think she doesn't completely understand what's happening. All she knows it that she loves my name, I guess.

I know! I never realised how much bigger guys pockets were until I got a pair of guys trousers. Get used to having to bring a bag everywhere is all I can say.

Don't know if you're on hormones or not, but enjoy those tiiiiny breasts while you still have them. Small boobs are fun. Speaking as a guy with DD breasts, big boobs aren't as fun as they sound. They're heavy and smack you in the face while you try to run. They're also not round like porn makes some believe they are.

Off the topic of boobs, congrats on getting the purse.

    Thanks and -hugs-

I'm not on hormones, but I've always had tiny breasts. So I do want larger ones, not because they might be porn perfect [which of course they aren't] or 'fun'. But because what I currently have is what has always been there, interferes with how I feel about myself. Larger ones so I can feel like I have achieved the change and am more of the person I want to be. I wouldn't/wont go huge, but I'm fed up with these and no one has enjoyed them so far.

kind of a weird one lmao but here we go

im dfab, genderfluid and currently IDing as male. despite this, i still use the women's restroom at my college bc i dont think i pass enough to use the men's and we dont have gender neutral bathrooms. well as i was walking out, an older woman was walking in and she stopped and stared at me kind of startled for a second like she thought i didn't belong there in the woman's restroom

i took that as a small victory haha

I finally got up the courage to email all my professors asking them to use my proper name/pronouns, instead of what is indicated on the roster.

I wasn't going to do it since classes already started, but at the last minute, a friend encouraged me to go ahead.... now I'll have to wait for their responses!

It was pretty cold today so I got to wear my baggy hoodie! I looked like I had a flat chest and everything it felt amazing. (I know this is a very small victory but it helped me feel a lot better about today.)
