Well my mom likes my hair dark. We are going to go pick out outfits Sunday. My dad is even going to give input. So yea I'm watching TV with them now. And drinking heavily not out of sadness or isolation but in celebration.

So, I just had presents opened, presenting female. And I got some makeup remover and skin toner and other girly things from my mom and dad. Meant the world to me.

Not a gender related victory but I got a Japanese Gamecube controller for Christmas which is really cool.

and oh I can't wait to be mis-gendered throughout the day by my traditionalist conservative extended family

I went out to dinner with my aunt and uncle, cousins and nan on Christmas Eve. My nan is not the most accepting of my gender (ignorance over hate, though it still sucks), but that night she referred to me as "one of the boys" (all of my first cousins are male, except one who is AFAB and agender). My aunt noticed and laughed about it because we all thought it was awesome but knew that my nan hadn't noticed she'd done it.

A subconscious thought with me being male? Definitely a victory.

Gamecube. It's possible to use Gamecube controllers on the Wii? I thought it was only possible to use Gamecube games on the Wii.

Well, yeah--there are controller ports on the top of the console when it is upright. Gamecube games would be unplayable on Wii if you couldn't use a controller on it.

I got a binder for Christmas!! (From myself, but it still counts :icon_bigg) Also, my step-grandma brought me shopping and we shopped in the men's department. So amazing. Best part was I found men's jeans that fit perfectly!

Well it was a small victory today, my birth-mother used the right pronounce today, and when she was talking to my daughter she referred to me as her mother.
Felt so great that she is accepting me.
My stepfather called me by my right name too (though he had a little slip up now and then but that was not on purpose)
all and all it was a nice Christmas present

I just posted on Facebook that I am transgender, and promised to make a post within the next seven days to better explain that.
My heart trying to pound out my chest.

Do it now. No use in not explaining and letting people whisper and rumor.

Sadly I don't have a laptop or desktop near by that I can use. I don't want to use my phone because...well past experience shows my phone and long posts do not mix. Besides what I want to say is mostly saved on my laptop at home. (I'll be away from home till Sunday.)

I am officially out as transgender... TO EVERYONE.

Bar the odd person who will find out from others because I will not see them before I go back to uni.

    Everyone took it... brilliantly.
