-Cheap tasty Indian curries (compared with here)
    -Fish and chips
    -Fries with vinagar
    -Mr. Bean
    -Tea with milk
    -Nice pastries and pies
-Gardens (Horticultural in Kew is nice and Cornwall have some amazing ones too)
    -Xenophobia
-Weird first past the post party system and weird parties. I honestly thought some UKIP party leaflets and a news program on the bbc about 'the incoming flood of Romanians' were satire...
    -Class society
    -David Attenborough
    -Some nice TV series
    -Nice nature
-Weird nationalism (with some tv shows and with food in supermarkets they put 'British' in front of almost everything to make it 'better')
    -Nice hills
-Lots of hedges, which is nice until you realize that there are no foot/biking paths alongside, so some roads become death traps for pedestrians and cyclists if you insist on taking the short route, instead of plodding through farms and mud.
    -Nice weather
    -Puddings
    -Bad chocolate
    -Nice towns and churches etc.

How nice it would be to have a butler and a maid with those adorable accents.

Plus, this place doesn't clean itself, and I'm too lazy!

    Perfection.

Apart from the chavs , raving pikeys , Bradford , the labour party , George Galloway , republic ( the group ) , Richard Dawkins , mopeds , whining WAGs , the rainy winter , the rainy summer , The End of the Empire , everybody thinking public schools are for rich fools ( although looking at me I wouldn't be alarmed if you thought that ) The decline of the Royal Navy , and the benefit scroungers etc etc etc. Alex salmond and his stupid independence campaign , oh and an undeserved hate by everyone

I haven't got the point of this have I ?

I have to agree with this, and I live adjacent to Luton. Other than the weather and a few problems that first come to me, I think the UK is quite an enjoyable place, It's got its culture and things like that. Certainly not the best country by far, though. I like it.

Queen Elizabeth II , in case you hadn't noticed , is a constitutional monarch. She has little or no power in virtually all areas , so where you get the deluded idea that its a regime I don't know. Also , as a member of the BMS I'm slightly offended.

And the food isn't bloody tasteless.:tantrum:

-You guys have amazing accents (besides the Geordie one >_< ).
    - I hate it when Brits tell us that "we speak English incorrectly" and that since the English language came from England, then automatically everyone there speaks it better. I beg to differ on this.
-Full of history (castles, cathedrals, homes, etc.)
-Just as bad about implementing foreign languages into school systems as we are.
-Universal health care, but super high taxes.
-Driving on the left side of the road= foreign concept to me
-Jonathan Ross is funny, but he CAN be a dickhead sometimes.
-Norton Graham is funny and awesome!!
-Your humor (no u :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:) is very witty and I wish we had more of it in the states. French and Saunders, Monty Python...
-I know that not everyone has an accent like they do on BBC.
-The Tube in London looks really cool and gets you to go anywhere you want to go.
    -The landscape is so green!!
-Interesting slang that I personally NEVER use "ping, chirpsing, rubbish, bloody, chinwag, duckie"
