Also, for somewhere supposedly 'united', it's one of the most disunited places I've ever seen. Should rename it disunited queendom.
While there are some good bits, like where I am from (The Lake District) Its full of sectarianism, towns like Luton are so racially divided they are horrible places to be. London has a group of religious zealots going around and declaring things like "gay free zones" and the thing , Glasgow is actually more divided along religious lines than places in Ireland. In England there is a huge North South divide, us Northerners are second best to the people from London and the South East, all our politics is divided by people from there. Its not fair at all. But that aside England at least is very LGBT friendly on the whole, from April same sex couples can get married in England and Wales. The most homophobic place in the UK is only Northern Ireland which unlike Ireland and the rest of the UK is run by religious bigots who think the Earth is 6,000 years old and the like. But hey I don't count NI as part of the UK so
