I'm 18 and I currently play Minecraft, The Sims, Terraria and a lot of other stuff. There was this time when I told my sister that: "When I have the right job and the money, I will buy a better computer for gaming". My mom heard it and said: "I guess you'll still play computer games even when you're old." She doesn't mean anything by it,just being sarcastic. So this question was raised. What do you think?
I will be too old for gaming when my mom is too old for gardening and my dad is too old to watch baseball. You can't be too old for a hobby. Your interest will probably lessen as you get older, but you probably won't be too old to play games.
Well, apparently the average age of a gamer is something around 30~. Here's some interesting stuff. The average age of a gamer is 30 and other interesting gaming facts that were just discovered
my mom still play those bejeweled swap and match 3 or more of a kind things at her age.... Maybe not hardcore MMO gaming, but those count right?
I think there's really no age for 'too old'. The idea of 'too old' is a limit you put on yourself. Haven't you seen all these old guys doing these amazing things that other old guys would never do? ( Gaming..Gymnastic...skateboarding) I think 'toll old' is just a limitation you put on yourself and that theres really never 'too old' for something.
I'll be 33 in december and I still play video games all the time. I don't rush out to buy new titles very often but still this weekend I played a season on both NCAA 09 and Madden 09. I'd rather game than watch TV (except for UFC and if my Hogs or Cowboys are playing). Would I like Madden 25? Hell yea, but not for $60 when I've had 09 for years and can play for free. I think that is the biggest difference between gamers in our 30s and gamers in their teens. You kinda learn to enjoy what you have instead of always wanting the latest 'hot game'. Oh and don't trow away your old system. There will come a time when you enjoy playing your old favorites again. I still love my SNES versions of Mario World, DK Country, NBA JAM (AM, AM, am, ammmmm) And the old Crash Bandicoot games.
Psh! There is no "too old" for video games. I just turned 28, and I still play as often as I can. I have friends that I used to game with that are in their 50s and 60s, so gaming is good for people of all ages!
The lowest age rating in America for a video game is "E for Everyone". So video games are for everyone, unless you're too young to play more "mature" games. I put mature in inverted commas because a lot of 18+ games really aren't.
There is no age limit. I actually want to play video games more. But I'm too busy and can't afford the new platforms.
You can play until whatever age you want. You may even grow tired of playing xbox, ps3 or computer games and find another hobby. However, our parents do forget that they didn't have all these techno gadgets to play with when they were young so they don't know when their children should stop.
