Just how empty ARE EC's closets (how out are y'all)?

I'm kinda out of the closet

 

closeted to my parents.

 

Out to a few people... 4 straight folk and of course my LGBT social group (but that doesn't count). It's getting harder and harder to stay in the closet.. soo much work but I have a complicated situation to consider.

 

Virtually no one right now. Not that I care either way.

A GSA opened up on my campus that I might visit next week. From there I might be slightly more out (unless I lie and say I'm an Ally).

 

It's true i don't need much support nowadays, being out to everyone I've known for more than a few weeks. But i still like talking about this stuff and trying to be in some small way helpful to others who are struggling with it.

 

I'm only out to four people, and it'll be years before I'm out to everyone and comfortable with it...

 

just my gsa, parents + sister, and school counselor. I might wait a while before I tell anyone else.

 

To 2 best friends and one really close childhood friend. That's all for now.

 

My closet is 100% empty :icon_bigg

 

I am out to all of my family but grandparents: my mom, dad, twin sister, and two amazing aunts. I am also out to 6 friends and my crush who happens to be bi.

And then I'm semi-out (just hinting) to a super nice guy at my school who recently came out as gay to everybody. I SO admire his courage.

I'll get there eventually...

 

Do they ask?

Everybody I know, even the gay ones, have never heard of EC.

 

I'm planning on telling someone else.. I just need to figure out who :3

 

I'm out to a few close friends, my university's pride group, my brother, and all you fantastic people on EC. I'm seriously considering outing myself to everyone on fb on National Coming Out Day and just getting it all over with once and for all.

 

I noticed that when I first mentioned this site at a PFLAG meeting. No one had ever heard of it before.

 

I've come out directly to my mom and stepdad. Other than that, I'm out on Facebook via the 'interested in' feature to all except family members. That may change at some point though

I've only told a small handful of very close friends. Still working on the nerve to tell anybody else =/ Not sure I'll ever get there.
