...and those old habits of silence don't go down without a fight usually. I'm looking at the title of this thread and thinking: the only dreams that matter are the ones I'd like to put some action behind and perhaps come into fruition. The night time ones - often just a busy mind blowing off steam! Thank ye gods of sleep!

They can be so weird, that they either require analysis or just need to be shrugged off.

As I started working, there was a guy I'd see downtown during my daily commute. He was about 10 years older than me. I noticed his face first. Then, yeah, I looked at his ring finger and he was married, though the ring came and went. I don't know why some people do that. I knew what he did for a living, but knew nothing about him and his family.

A couple of years later, I had a dream about him. He was in the living room of an apartment with me, getting kind of warmed up, and the sleeper on the sofa had been opened up. Across the room was his son, who might have been ten or so, but suffered from mental retardation and was just watching. That's where the dream ended. There was nothing sexy about it. It was more disturbing.

Years later, out of curiosity, I did a search engine on this guy. It turns out his son is one of those successful 20-something entrepreneurs. He's a decent looking guy, but doesn't have his dad's really hot looks, like this.

You know the old saying about dream interpretation; "Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar." In other words you can analyze things too much. IMO most dreams should just be shrugged off unless it sticks with you or you feel like your mind/spirit is trying to tell you something.

Such an interesting thread! Personally, I tend to steer away from interpreting dreams (other than listening with fascination to you dreamers out there). They are so personal, so idiosyncratic, it takes a lot of self-reflection even try to understand them (if understanding is the purpose...is there really something to understand, or is a dream just an experience that isn't really trying to tell you anything?).

I find that the "gay-themed" dreams that I continue to have do not generally involve any interaction with the characters that appear in them, they are just...noticed or are within rather innocent (or bizarre) scenarios.

I've had several of me sitting in class or at home with my mind racing as usual with all my conflicted thoughts, sometimes at the most opportune moment when I'm about to send him a text or call him letting him know my feelings... Next thing I know my crush shows up next to my desk or at my door and just embraces me with the most amazing kiss. And it loses the PG13 rating after that
Usually have this dream once a week.

I have many dreams of what it would be like to be gay. With this attraction to the same sex. Of kissing and cuddling, doing the wild thing with other guys. I dream a lot about coming out and being open and with starting a new lifestyle

  7. If gay dreams are a portal into our subconcious then explain these

I've been having at least 1 gay dream a year since I went through puberty. In fact I think my 1st wet dream was a gay 1 but like the others and didn't think much of them because I didnt like guys. I've had my share of straight dreams to but I think I found them difficult to live them out (idk hard to experience them) and that started to bother me. The thing the dreams all had in common was that there was no intercourse rarely with people i knew and would only be masturbating. As I grew (still no questioning) i found I was running away from gay situations like if there were guys masturbating i found it weird and kind of wrong in the dreams so i added women or ran away. Now currently i have found myself having sex with women in my dreams with guys trying to have sex with me, even when im having sex with a woman at the time, and i would always turn away or run. Now Im currently the most nervous ive ever been and my dreams...i have had more straight dreams now then when i was a kid...and i had my 1st legit gay inter course dream with a guy and ya know what? In the dream i actually remember looking at him and we both agreed and said that was terrible and that i was looking forward to sex with women...swear to the skywizard im telling the truth...hell i think i woke up laughing.

So if im gay and what my head is conforming me to live this lifestyle then how come i know deep down i dont want to have sex with men?

Sorry about the annouing crap just felt good to vent (!)

Since coming out my gay dreams (night and day) have changed from be being the bottom, in a 1 on 1 session, to me being the top. I imagine long and intimate cuddling sessions with a guy who I top whilst in the spoons position.

I still imagine being bottom but it’s more in some sort of group session but not a gang bang, just being touched and caressed by others whilst being fucked by one guy.

This is one area where I guess I might question me being anything but asexual, because I honestly don't recall a single sex dream that involved another person. Yes, I had wet dreams as a teen, but it was mostly just me getting off by myself. I haven't had a sexual dream at all in quite a long time (years now).

Had one last night. It involved a stay in rural Massachusetts at several chain operated hotels over several days. The dream was indeed sexual this time, instead of situational. I had no reason to be in Massachusetts. The surroundings didn't even make sense for Massachusetts.

I hardly ever get any sexually arousing dreams, at least that I can remember. It's really sad. Can anything be done to increase the chances of having the type of dreams you want?

Personal opinion: I think if a person takes the matter into their own hands, the sexual dreams diminish. That's what I've experienced. When I was younger and not engaging in this practice, sexual dreams were more frequent.

I have dreams about women most of the time. Most of them kissing or making out, one where I was dry humping them I think.

though I've also had maybe 2 or 3 sexual dreams about guys.

I think these started at middle school stopped for a period than continued into my late teens- early 20's though wow I'm jealous you get a sex dream every night, that's awesome, I wish that were my life haha

I did last night in fact.

Sometimes it's with my boyfriend, but oddly with guys who I though were kinda cute and who I haven't seen or talked about in ages

Yes I have mostly gay dreams of meeting other guys just like myself and doing the wild thing with them. It dosnt matter if they are black or white making out with all. Watching them , they watching me .

This will ALWAYS be one of the better terms for the wild thing.

I have a recurring dream where a guy (always the same guy, the first one I ever had sex with) shows up at my house and tells my wife that I'm gay. Scares the crap out of me when I wake up - its so realistic. Is someone trying to tell me something??
