What Are You Thinking?

It's been awhile, I wonder how is she doing now..

 

One of the bands I was supposed to see play tonight posted on Facebook that the show is cancelled, presumably because Pain of Salvation's lead guy is ill. It's a perfectly valid reason to cancel the show, and entirely understandable, but holy #$@#$@#$ it's frustrating to be so looking forward to something for months and have it get torn away at the last goddamn minute. Not to mention that I indiegogo'd both of the supporting bands with not-entirely-trivial sums of money and now I don't even get to see them play. Glad I got to help out some really cool bands, but aaaaaargh I want to both cry and go kick something into a bloody pulp right now. :tears::bang::***:

And now I feel like a moron for getting so worked up over a bloody concert. Argh.

 

Had my first class for grad school and now I'm feeling slightly overwhelmed and inadequate.

 

At the Oregon Queer Youth Summit up in Portland. Presenting femme, but if anyone just happens to be there (however unlikely), I'm wearing plaid and otherwise look like a typicaly lesbian.

 

I don't know why I keep agreeing to work third shifts and make it a double. It's not getting me anymore money. It just means I get to go home at 7am and sleep all day instead of going in at 7am. Ugh... oh well... at least I'll be driving home to my grandfather's and waking up to celebrate my birthday 11 days early.

 

I want to dropout from school but I know I can't do that. I mean, I have a job that most of my classmates would kill for, and I have a University education all set up for me... but I seriously can't deal anymore.

Christ, man, what the hell do I do. I don't want to postpone the one and only thing I need because of retarded schoolmates.

 

I just realized that I've never seen an episode of Smallville or Kyle XY.

 

I have an AP test next Monday.. Why can't I just focus and study?

 

My biceps are tingly and sore. I think that's a good thing - heavy lifting usually induces that feeling. But now I don't want to drive home...

Looking forward to picking up most of my holds from the library tomorrow, especially the entire Blackadder series. I could really use the laughs.

Well, that mac and cheese tasted...I wish I could say interesting, but the truth is it didn't taste like anything much, other than a vague hint of chili powder. :/ Probably wouldn't have been half-bad if I'd had more cheese. I bought a block of organic cheese that, ironically, tasted like plastic, and so decided not to use it, choosing to instead rely on the various slices of cheese I had in the fridge. I thought it would be enough, but apparently it wasn't.

 

Annnddddd..... on to Summer classes. :dry: .....

 

Thinking about my graduation into high school...
