What Are You Thinking?

My host teacher gave me a binder copy of the science curriculum so I can begin to plan my lesson

 

You got it. I'm there. I'm sick of thinking something is going to change, and then nothing does. I'm done. This is my life. Any attempt to change it is fruitless.

 

I don't really want to go to attend Anime Night today, but I don't want to tell them that, so I want to make a plausible excuse. If I make an excuse, though, I will feel incredibly guilty. I'll have to say something, since I did tell my friend a few days ago that I'd see her on Monday, and it'd be rude for me to fail to appear after saying that I'd go.

I feel obligated to go, but my friends have made it very clear that there is no obligation at all. Nevertheless, I feel that as long I keep making excuses, they'll eventually feel resentment toward me because I can't just be honest with them.

Why can't I make even a simple decision such as this one? Why do I have to overanalyze these situations out of fear of hurting others' feelings?

My game just played an evil trick. It sent me (or at least somebody sent) a gift that I opened expecting to be a bonus, but it was a deadly plague that killed all my carefully bred villagers. I actually screamed a protest before it told me April fools lol. That was an excellent prank.

 

Well.. at least my avatar was already a squirrel.

 

Oi, I need to stop having fun with this Zoophilia Day celebration. Should be doing actual work.

DAMN was it warm out today. Must've been 60 degrees at some point. Looked like all the freshmen seminar classes were all held outside too!

I really need to stop procrastinating and just tackle this seemingly daunting paperwork. At least I got around to printing it…

Whether it's too late in the evening to send a random, "Hey, how's it going?"-type text to the guy I recently exchanged numbers with who I'm still not entirely sure how I feel about. >__>

 

I can't remember the last time I wasn't living in constant fear about what my future life will be like and if ill ever be happy. Would be nice to be able to relax for a while.

On another note, I haven't seen my best friend in over a month and I miss him like crazy.

 

Is it worth it.

Westboro Baptist Church's facebook page has been hacked...since the beginning of the new year; and I just found this out. :lol: So amused.

 

I now truly appreciate modern medicine. I acknowledged it before, I knew it existed, I knew it did some good, but I did not truly appreciate just how much it can improve your wellbeing when you're ill enough for your family to go "you look like death", but not so ill that you warrant hospitalisation.

Without modern medicine I would have spent the last two days being a total crybaby over having flu. I still would have spent these days in bed, put into quarantine by an overreacting family, but I would have been in bed and in pain.

Hopefully this infection will shift soon, I have three papers to write and 18 days to write them. I need my critical brain back in action and to stop drifting in/out of sleep ASAP otherwise they're just not going to be completed.
