Frank Zappa's Shiek Yer Bouti has many gay references,.. Songs like "Broken Hearts are for Assholes", "I'm so Cute", "Bobby Brown goes down",.. are poking fun at gays

You know I've had about six of those on my MP3 player, including Blondie*, and I was introduced to just about all of them, directly or otherwise by Wave 103 (listening to it as I type [Space Age Love Song-AFOS]). That's a fictional radio station from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City.

Is Grand Theft Auto turning our children violent AND gay?

*Well as for letting your son listen to it, who could deny that Debra Harry was beautiful? I wonder what double asterix is for?

:roflmao: I know this is an old thread, but oh well. Let's see I've listened to/ have listened to at least one or more of their songs; Lady Gaga, P!nk (have you met me? I'm a major P!nk fan ), Cold play, Michael Jackson :tears:, Jonas brothers (or at least one brother, since I listened to a song by Nick Jonas before but I didn't like it much), Scissor Sisters, Tegan and Sara obviously, Queen, The village people, the rolling stones ( I heard one of their songs on sing-star), Madonna, Elton John, Eminem (really? that's on the list?, I'm surprised I mean he has some quite homophobic lyrics in his songs, that's why I went off his music that among other things), boy George, the killers, Red hot chilli peppers, pan!c at the disco, and Britney Spears (she was actually one of my first celebrity crushes :icon_wink).

Man, no wonder I'm gay.

I'm surprised (not really) that Limpwrist isn't on this list. They're a gay hardcore band.

I thought the same thing! This list is quite funny. Let's see, I like: Slipknot, Twisted Sister, Marilyn Manson, Metallica, Judas Priest, The Rolling Stones, Nirvana, and Motorhead. I guess they only achieved half their job though, because I'm bi. This list is ridiculous. :roflmao:

This is none of my business -like- but Elton John is gay but why one of his songs being ''Kiss the Bride''. (?)

Um ... looking back, I think it's possible to know who you like way before teenage hormone years. I remember singing crash the wedding (noted below) and Uptown Girl (Billy Joel, version by Westlife) when I was younger.

This is more rhetorical considering it's none of my business, but I always loved singing this song (older version of ''crash the wedding'' by busted).

Okay, so Katie Perry might encourage girls to ''I kissed a girl and I liked it...'' but it doesn't make them gay.

Lol I like loads of them I'm not even gonna list them but they have completely missed the singers of my favourite blatantly girlxgirl songs, Demi Lovato and Hayley Kiyoko while listing all these ridiculous contenders. This is hilarious.

How does George Strait make you gay? All his songs are about women!

"All My Exes Live In Texas"
"She'll Leave You With A Smile"
    Etc
    Are about women!

    But
    "Love Without End, Amen"
    "Love is everything"
    Are pretty much about anybody.

I am glad to see that Queen made the list!
FREDDIE MERCURY WAS BI NOT GAY THOUGH.
