What Are You Thinking?

I'm so sick of people. I called in sick to my internship this morning because of it.

 

Woke up today with the same headache I had yesterday - bad
Just found out my bio class is cancelled - good

 

There are some new cute guys here on EC. :lol: I feel like a stalker.

Thinking about how insatiably yummy Tom Hardy was back in 2005

(and the recent revelation that he messed around with guys off-stage during the same period)

 

Mreeeeeehhhhh, I don't know how I feel about these two tests coming up today...

 

I really need to start studying for lab finals, they are starting right away and I'm not all that confident about the material.

 

I've seen Hardy mentioned here and there but don't recall having seen him before today. For some reason, I imagined him much much differently.

Though I'm not displeased at being wrong.

 

My dad and I think too much alike. We both wanted to get my mom a laptop for christmas. Well.. we both looked at the same laptop without even talking to each other. So, my mom almost ended up with two identical laptops for christmas. Good thing I called my dad.

 

I just set a goal for myself: I want to have come out to a certain group of close friends by the end of the year so I can start the new year without the worry of having to do that. Which gives me a month to do so. Still waiting for a conversation in college in which I can casually mention it like it's no big deal, too.

 

I'm in somewhat of a similar situation.

I don't feel bad about my organic chemistry lab exam because I have old exams that I can use to study. Also, lecture material connects to lab, so I should be able to figure out questions on the exam fairly well.

But physics is a whole other ball game; I didn't pay attention during labs as much as I should have. And I'm still struggling here and there with the lecture material, so I'm in trouble :icon_sad:

Good news: My humanities professor will curve our final grades because the average for our quizzes isn't great as a whole. I might be able to get an A- for the course if I do well on this quiz, such that my last quiz, which I bombed, gets dropped !

 

I have a job interview tomorrow morning for a great job that I want; if they offer I have to say yes. But... my dream job won't be interviewing for another couple of weeks and if I have already taken the first job... I have to decline the second.

But if I say no to the first job and the second doesn't give me an offer... Then I am screwed. Argh! That's what I am thinking.

 

Love and I put tracking apps on our phones tonight so we can keep track of each other....because we make bad decisions. That's how you know you're an adult. When someone says be careful, be safe, and you roll your eyes because you don't think anything can happen to you, when you move past that, you're an adult. Certified.

Right now we're the only ones on the network. But we both agreed that we'd be willing to invite my mentor (who is also her on again/off again boyfriend) to the network too eventually. If anything ever happened to us, he's the only person I'd trust to come save us, that I know would make us feel safe again. So......yeah. That was my night. But I'm feeling just generally fat, ugly, hideous, and revolting today too. It's one of those days. There aren't enough margaritas or fried ice cream in Mexico to make up for how worthless I feel tonight.

 

Saturday Night Live Christmas special.. I think yes!!!!!!

 

Hell yeah!!

That coupled with the ice cream sandwich I found in the freezer, the Charlie Brown Christmas special, and some tea and my evening is made. <3
