Why is it that all my close friends are suddenly (like, in the span of a day and a half) involved in (potentially) romantic relationships?

why did I waste the last 4 years of my life.

 

Dad had an emotional breakdown in front of me, and the entire time I just listened. I barely said a word. And at the end of it, all I was left thinking was, "What do I do? What CAN I do?".

I want to help, somehow. But, yet, at the same time, I'm actually afraid of bonding with my dad. That, and I don't have a clue as how to help. *sigh*

 

It felt like a heart attack, but for some reason I wasn't scared at all. Perhaps I am ready to let go.

This week had the longest labs I've ever had. All but one of them went over the time alotted, and 2 of them by over an hour. I am ready for this week to be over.

 

I think I'm ready for this test. Microbial Metabolism here I go!

I'm not going to work today. I don't see a point in it. Or in most things these days. Maybe taking a third day off will allow me to feel better.

 

I reserved Dynasty Warriors 7 Xtreme Legends from my public library a week ago (they're so awesome because they video games you can check out!), but it hasn't come in yet. You're only allowed to keep a video game for 7 days without renewal if there is a hold placed on it. WELLLLL, I went on the library catalog to check to see when the copy was due back, and it was due back FOUR DAYS AGO. The idiot who checked it out simply hasn't turned it in yet. :dry:

Also...I've gotten a lot done today. I'm wondering if my aunt will notice at all that I cleaned her entire work station. I won't say anything, obviously, but it'd be nice for her to see that I actually do things without being expected to do them.

 

How can my mom know that things are bothering me and she is on fb? :/

 

Oh man, Wreck-It Ralph was utterly fantastic. So much of my useless video game knowledge just poured off the screen and made a wonderful mix of amazing.

 

I was getting my hair cut today and I was talking to my stylist about how I might get hired in January at the probation office, even though I don't have a degree yet; when the new judge comes in at the end of December, because the probation office is going to petition him on my behalf! And I was like, "Oh, I hope I get a badge." And my stylist was like, "A badge? How about a gun?" And some random woman that I've never seen before says, "Yes, well, he'll have to wait until he's 18." But she said it like a bitch would say it. I looked at her like, really? REALLY? I am an anatomical anomaly. Freakishly young looking. I said I'm older than 18 and I graduate in the spring and she's like, "Oh, what college do you think you're going to go to?" I said, I'm already in college. I graduate from it in the spring. This random woman thought I was a senior in high school, and 16/17. One day I'm just going to play along like I really am 16. It's getting boring, always correcting people. This exact scenario happens to me every single day of my life. Every 10 minutes at the courthouse....
