    Huh, so apparently my house was one of the few places around that wasn't hit by the power outage, but the entire city (which isn't exactly small) is under a boil water notice. At least I got out of work tonight, but that also means all food operations in town are shut down.

    Wish I could take back what I said all those years ago to hurt you. Wish I could have accepted myself back then and accepted you in instead of pushing you away. Wish I at least knew you were doing ok, I miss you still and wish I could tell you how sorry I am, and I did mean it when I said I loved you, I think I still do to this day, ugh how different life could have been!     My aunt shared a photo of Chick-Fil-A on Facebook from some news page and it has over 26,000 likes and 3,000 shares. :frowning2:
    Sooo many comments saying how they agree with Chick-Fil-A and such on.
    However I did get 3 (the most) likes on my comment on another person's related status saying there's a difference in having your own beliefs and actively trying to take away other's rights. Several people there were saying all of the it's a free country stuff..
    Bonus: one of the likes was from an actor I like. (It was his status.) :thumbsup:

    Just found out from my mom/sister a family friend I once regarded as a sister/mother who knew us for 14 years stopped talking to me not because of a fight she had with my sister, (as her cutting me out happened at the same time), but because I'm gay. She apparently told my mom she doesn't invite her out anymore in fear my sister or I would follow (when we never did), because of the argument with my sister and because I'm gay.

    Despite that entire talk we had one night about how it doesn't change how she sees me, etc.

    I think it hurts more that she lied to me about being okay with it, rather than that being the reason she decided to cut me out of her life.

    I should have known though, after all, she told me not to tell her kids when I came out, and she was the one who convinced my mom coming out online (through another family friend) was horrible because I should have told her in person, despite knowing my mom is the type of person to say things on the spur of the moment she doesn't mean, and regrets later. I stick by the decision to come out online.

    That sounds like what happened to my town a few weeks ago... I did not get power back for 6 days. One of my friends did not get power back for 11 days. There is still a ton of damage around here too..

    Since my whole town did not have power.. we had to drive about 30 min to a place that had power to eat... and the line was forever long there.
