I've seen a good number of the films on the list above. I'll add a few more I've seen and liked:

GBF (Gay Boyfriend) - It was really funny and very watchable.
But I'm a Cheerleader - A comedic take on 'gay curing camps'
    Eating Out
    Almost Normal
    Gayby

I've seen a handful of Gay Documentaries as well:
    Survival of the Fabulous
    Brainwash - Gay/Straight
    Growing Up Gay
    How We Got Gay
    The Case Against 8
    God Loves Uganda
    Paragraph 175

I've recently started getting into LGBT documentaries. I really liked We Were Here and How To Survive a Plague, both about the early struggle against AIDS.

I Love You Philip Morris was a good movie.

I also recently watched the Skeleton Twins and I actually enjoyed it though the whole movie was depressing

If you don't mind movies with subtitles, The Way He Looks, which is a recent Brazilian film was super duper cute. It's about a blind teenager and the new boy at school and his best friend and their relationships. I squeed so much. It's beautiful.

Another super squeeable film I've seen a few times is Beautiful Thing, which is a bit old now, but holds up very well. Nothing to difficult, but just super adorable.

You should go watch both of them right now.

I've seen many, but here are the best ones I could remember:
    Torch Song Trilogy,
    Celluloid Closet (documentary),
    The Birdcage,
    Brokeback Mountain,
    Running With Scissors,
    Philadelphia,
    Making the Boys (documentary),
    Love! Valour! Compassion!,
    Sunday Bloody Sunday,
A Liar's Autobiography (kind of a documentary, it was hilarious),

I just added 'In & Out' and 'The Birdcage'. Both are pretty enjoyable, but Birdcage wins out. (Hard to compete with Mr. Williams, hah!)

I'm sure there's more, but here's what comes to mind:

The Normal Heart -- Matt Bomer should have won an award, if he didn't. Great acting.
    Elena Undone
    Pride
    Brokeback Mountain
    Kill Your Darlings
Bridegroom -- cried through the whole documentary. So sad.
    Prayers For Bobby
    Milk
    Philadelphia
    The Birdcage
    Eating Out
    Fried Green Tomatoes
    Boys Don't Cry
    The Crying Game
    If These Walls Could Talk
    Transamercia
    Rent

I just watched Romeos, the German film. Been mentioned before but I really liked it. It's a love story between a trans guy (Lukas) and a cis guy (Fabio). I liked it because there were trans characters, gay characters, lesbian characters (and probably bisexual characters), and it addressed certain trans issues in a very poignant way. Also family, friendship, etc.
Of course, there were also stereotypes (the gay bars... oh and how ridiculously hot everyone was), but it's been a long time since a film hit that hard with me.

Last night I saw "Latter Days". Good God that movie was cheesy! Corny dialogue, tons of cliches and contrived situations. The acting was also extremely melodramatic. And there were a few moments between the two leads where I felt like I was watching the intro to a porno.

That is not to say I didn't enjoy the movie. I had a great time watching it (at least the first two thirds). After seeing the relentlessly depressing "The Normal Heart" it was nice to watch a gay movie that didn't take itself so seriously. It was kind of a fun guilty pleasure movie …

…until the last third of the movie in which Aaron faces his bigoted parents is forced to go to conversion therapy. The whole tone of the movie got really dark for a good 20 minutes and it sort of clashed with the feel of the movie for the previous hour. It ends on a fairly uplifting note, but I felt a little bit of mood whiplash when watching the film.
