My psychologist told me that the males that were later born have a higher tendency to be gay. It's a chemical thing about how the mom's chemistry is changed after multiple pregnancies and it affects the male's brain chemistry. I don't know if or how it affects females. But it worked out in my case. I'm the youngest natural born in my family. If all my siblings had lived, I'd be number 5. (My mom miscarried the 2 before me.) And I'm pretty much all the way gay.
I'm the youngest but from the variety of responses, we can see that "The youngest siblings usually are the gay ones" is false.
Im the youngest of three. Im a flip flop or curious. Mainly straight but playfully curious. I have yet to meet anyone, guy or girl, who first would appriciate who I am. Most guys just are looking to get off and have no desire to form friendships. Girls are different in that they don't mind but don't want to see my feminine side, wearing skirt, dresses and other feminine clothing. So coming out for me is really finding a friend or friends who accept that I like to wear girl clothes and I am attracted to both guys and girls. And that is more info than you all wanted here wasn't it. Chauk it up to my awkwardness. Just trying to fit in and working to hard at it. I really do talk to much.
I think I recall reading that preference of siblings where the later born is potentially going to be gay only applies to the males interestingly enough. I'll look around see if I can find any form of that research, it may have been disproved though. Funny thing though and I realize this is off topic, but on my Mom's side of the family, in a way that whole 1 in 10 people is gay theory proves true for me. Here's how I look at it 1. Gran 2. Gramps 3. Aunt 1 4. Aunt 2 5. Aunt 3 6. My Mom 7. Cousin (Son of Aunt 1) 8. Cousin (Son of Aunt 1) 9. Cousing (Son of Aunt 2) 10. Me. Funny huh?
Well....it's complicated. xD Out of my mother's children, I'm the eldest of her 3 children...out of my dad's...I'm the second youngest (My two twin brothers -> My older sister -> Me -> my 3rd sister (my second sister has a different dad))
I'm the oldest. Two younger sisters. It should be worth noting that the statistic states that with each successive male child the chances of the next one being gay increase. It has nothing to do with female children as far as anyone knows.
That's actually scientifically ground. But only with male children who share the same mother. If someone has many older sisters, or older sep-brothers, or older half brothers on his dad's side, he is no more likely to be gay. I am the youngest son my mom's given birth to. I have a younger sister though.
There seems to be a lot of twins here. 0_o Interesting... I'm the middle child on my mother's side, and the youngest on my father's side.
If I remember right, I heard that for each successive male born to the same mother, there's a 30% better chance that he are gay. So the third son is almost twice as likely (90%) to be gay as the oldest brother. I don't know if that's entirely true though. That said, I have one older brother.
