    I just realized my short attention span may be affecting my writing. I'm trying to write a novel and I'm not putting nearly enough material between the crucial scenes, especially not enough to build up to those scenes, so the whole thing seems rushed. [​IMG] I'm so used to writing short stories that this didn't even occur to me until now. This is probably why my last "novel" was only 92 pages. I need to work on that.

    Welp, I've been just trying to get myself back into dating after the train wreck that was my last relationship. I guess that's what happens when you date a closeted guy with homophobic parents. There have been a few girls who have said would be willing to go on a date with me. There have been a few guys who are pretty cute. Its always hard picking everything up after it shatters.... but I'm trying to go into this with an optimistic attitude.

    Since I'm not getting traction online with my writing, I think I might say fuck it and publish all my work into zines. It really kills my self-esteem to spend six hours writing a 6k-8k word short story and end up getting no feedback at all for over a month; even if it's live on three websites. I feel like I literally have to beg people to read my stuff to get it noticed or feedback.
