This may be premature, but honestly the year is pretty much over for me in terms of playing new games. It doesn't necessarily have to be the best, but what game did you really like? And if you thought every game sucked this year, then what was your least worst favorite game. Since we all change our minds, what currently is your favorite game of 2015? My top 2 1. Bloodborne - Superb dark game, probably had the most fun playing. 2. Life Is Strange - It was a refreshing game and it had pretty cool moments. Disappointment: fallout 4
Witcher 3: Wild Hint and nothing even comes close for me. Fallout 4 is good but it feels like nothing new. Witcher 3 is a masterpiece in my opinion. I enjoyed Star Wars Battlefront but it does feel like just another shooter.
My favourite game of the year is definitely Undertale, although I did really enjoy Resident Evil: Revelations 2. For disappointment, I'm going to have to say Five Nights at Freddy's 4. I like the other games, but I don't like having to listen for the animatronics.
Undertale. Holy hell, it had no right being as good as it was. And yet ... here we are. I didn't play any game that I thought was going to be a disappointment.
:icon_redf I've yet to play Bloodborne Does it have to be 2015 specific or can it be games from previous years? I only bought two games this year: Dark Souls II: SOTFS and Magicka 2. I still laugh whenever someone brings up this trailer for Magicka 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oi7f-pa5nqo Both of them were amazeballs!
Man I don't know. I thought about saying from 2014-2015, but I thought that would kind of be confusing. This is why I thought this thread was a little premature. lol But who cares.
Life is Strange is definitely up there. I've had several games I've enjoyed a lot such as Fallout 4 and Metal Gear, but although they were great, they didn't really wow me with anything new. Life is Strange surprised me with hiw great it was and stuck with me. Helldivers was also a total sleeper hit.
The Witcher 3. It was amazing. I played 63 hours without touching another game. It would be Metal Gear Solid, but this childish fight between Konami and Kojima ruined the perfection of the game (still an amazing game though). I also agree with the OP about the dissappointment. I didn't like Fallout 4. I think it was overhyped, and i think many people are forcing themselves to like it. Peraphs it isn't a bad game, but i tried to play it and i feel it is simply not worth my time.
I liked halo 5 because ITS FUCKING HALO. Fallout was cool for me because I had no expectations. Thank you kind sir. Someone finally said it.
I've been saying it for months. It's an alright game, but why it's getting the accolades that it's getting is absolutely beyond me. At this point I'm convinced everybody exclaims their love to it because of peer pressure. That and tits.
I disagree, there has never been a game like it and it deserves all the praise it is getting. The story and characters are well written, the gameplay is very fun, the graphics are stunning, so much in game content, gwent, tons of free dlc after release, the list goes on. I never once got bored of the game. If there has been one overrated game this year then its Fallout 4 by a mile. It might as well be a big Fallout 3 dlc.
