Also seconding Johnny Cash. And adding Metallica's cover of Turn the Page. I'm also REALLY EXCITED to hear the covers by Hollywood Vampires (Alice Cooper, Joe Perry, and Johnny Drop).
The "My Love" cover by We Came as Romans. Pop goes Punk is almost always interesting. ---------- Post added 1st Sep 2015 at 07:28 PM ---------- Third-ed .

I love Seether's cover of Careless Whisper by George Michaels. Macy Gray did a good cover of Radiohead's Creep too.
It's My Life by No Doubt (bet y'all didn't know that was a cover!) Tainted Love by Soft Cell (ditto!) Turn the Page by Metallica Ring of Fire by Social Distortion
Nothing Compares 2 U by Sinead O'Connor Many have argued that Prince sung it a lot better but I truly believe that Sinead O'Connor delivered the true emotion. Songs: Spoiler If I Where A Boy - Beyonce This was unknowingly originally sung by BC Jean and dispite BC doing a really good job, I believe that Beyonce did a lot better. Songs: Spoiler All Shook Up - Avila It was originally sung by Elvis Prestly and I think it's the major change from dance to balled that makes me love this cover more. Songs: Spoiler Touch My Body - Cyril Hahn I won't lie or hold back, I just downright don't like Mariah Carey. However, I enjoyed this cover/remix of the song. Songs: Spoiler
Anyone know the Squid Sisters final boss theme from Splatoon? This guy just made it better. And I thought it couldn't be done. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=99nY4NXpOqI
I have to second that! It's one of my favourite songs by them. I always liked these: - Xavier by Paradise Lost (Dead Can Dance) - Small Town Boy by Paradise Lost (Bronski Beat) - Blue Monday by Orgy (New Order) - In Power We Entrust Love Advocated by The Gathering (Dead Can Dance) - Running Up That Hill by Within Temptation/Placebo (Kate Bush) I like both version but I think Placebo's a little bit better than WT's. - Dead Souls by Nine Inch Nails (Joy Division) I still think JD version is better but NIN did a good job. - Army of Me by Proghma-C (Björk) um, not better than Björk 'cause nothing can beat her vocals but props for even making an effort to cover her work. And that's it. For now at least.
