So I'm in line right now, waiting for the laptops guarantee. Anyone else planning to buy stuff today? What you planning on buying?
i hate that places are having pre-black friday sales. it takes the fucking chaotic fun out of it... i'm waiting until tomorrow. personally i just plan on going to best buy and dropping a few hundred bucks on shit i don't need. because it's black friday and it's a tradition for me to blow money on shit.
Tomorrow I'm going to be buying myself a new iPad! Also going to check out some clothing sales and hopefully pick up some stuff at Macy's for Christmas gifts
Nope. For the first time in six years I don't have to work today so heck if I'm going to go anywhere near a store today. (!)(!)(!)(!) Gawd I'm so happy!!! The last time I had Thanksgiving/Black Friday off I was unemployed!
It was either that or, I get a cheap laptop. And I'm second in line so I'll be home for the dinner...if they wait for me.
I have to agree with you here, though I expect to see the craziness we've come to know and love anyways. :king: I plan on hitting up Walmart later this evening(when the fun usually begins) and probably some other places tomorrow. A local game place is having a great sale and will be opening up super early tomorrow, with some special giveaways for the first shoppers. Must...stay...awake!
That was the way it used to be. I suppose that Black Friday is still Black Friday. But many stores are open on Thanksgiving, and I expect that trend will only get worse as corporate America chases after that god of gods: the Almighty Dollar. Now let us us pause a moment to bow our heads in reverence to the Almighty Dollar.
At Walmart?! Goodness, bless you. And nope, I'm not shopping today or tomorrow. Instead I will sit here with my lazy rear on the couch and make online shopping lists.
Yes, it is pathetic. Another thing to note: Thanksgiving is late this year. So retailers are probably thinking less shopping time between Black Friday and Christmas. This issue comes up for discussion in business news some years...
I plan on going into hell-shop and buying some slave souls. Need them for my living room... But I'm still busy with preparing my army for Judgement Day so I rather might send that slimy little demon bug to buy those.
my friend wanted me to come with her at midnight for the bargains I politely said no . but I am going tomorrow (Friday) to try grab a few bargains and cheap xmas presents .
Why is getting cheap shit pathetic I bought a nice coat from urban outfitters online 37% off! I'm going shopping after work tomorrow will be fun!
Because mostly you don't need it, and because people get obsessed over something so incredibly shallow and meaningless. Possessions, beyond a certain point, don't make you happy, and only serve to take you further away from what really matters.
As long as you spend responsibly, there's nothing wrong with picking up something that you were going to buy anyway in a sale.
