I like it simple... tomato sauce and onions... and maybe pepperoni... and if selfmade, with fresh sliced tomatoes... and a little bit of pepper in the dough Do you make pizza yourself sometimes ?
I love Hawaiian pizza too! **virtual high-five** but, putting Pineapple on a plain cheese pizza would probably be gross
This weirdo definitely does! But for some people it's obviously a no-go, either if they don't like pineapple or have a complex about fruit on pizza. That's me with anchovies. Love them, but they don't belong on my pizza.
Are people actually getting upset about this? I thought this was kind of a joke-topic not to be taken seriously? ... ... Also, pineapple on pizza is disgusting!
Don't knock it until you've tried it. Sometimes you crave something other than a cheesy, spicy, or vegetal taste. There are crazier toppings, for sure: I've had lobster, curry, and barbecue chicken flavors, and supposedly, a goulash pizza exists somewhere in the vast universe...
Flavour-wise, tomatoes aren't considered fruits. Yes, they are the fruit of a tomato plant and are scientifically defined as a fruit, but in culinary, they are veggies, due to their savoury flavours. Many nuts also fit into this category of not being considered fruits. You don't put tomatoes in your icecream. It is not a fruit.
I rarely eat pizza with anything that is not considered "normal" pizza toppings. I do eat pineapple on my pizza when I am in the mood for a "sweet" tasting pizza. I don't find anything wrong with pineapple on pizza. What is REALLY gross and disgusting is FISH (anchovies) on pizza!! Now THAT is an abomination!!!!! To destroy a purrfectly good pizza by putting nasty, smelly, old fish on it!!!!! That is just ALL SORTS OF WRONG!!!!!
I don't know about Hexagon, but I was play fighting, not launching serious attacks. I thought the whole bit about hippies and the nonsensical nationalism made that clear. Sorry if it wasn't.
Papa John's has an amazing Hawaiian chicken pizza. It has bbq sauce instead of pizza sauce, chicken, and pinapple. And it tastes great! The bbq sauce and pinapple give it a hint of sweet taste that is delicious. I also love pinapple and ham on pizza.
There's so much negativity and arguments here. why can't we just all understand one another? Some people like it, some people don't. You can't force someone to like it, and you can't force someone to dislike it. Yin and Yang. Peace and love. ♡
