Don't worry Paul. Sane people like us are few and far between, but we shall defend the sanctity of pizza and keep fruit away from it.
Hawaiian Pizza made with ham, bacon, and pineapples tend to be many peoples favorite. I know I enjoy eating a slice or two occasionally.
I've had this heated debate with my partner before. I'm in favour of pineapple he is very much against. Of course, he is wrong and I'm right.
The only people here who do not as far as I've seen eat pizza with pineapples are the people who don't 1. Feel like eating pineapple then 2. Hate pineapple. And in my opinion pizza tastes really good with pineapples on it.... Well depending on what else is on it of course.
I like pineapple plenty and I even like pineapple in salsa, but for some reason it doesn't work on pizza for me. -_-
I did say people from HERE right? Or did I read my post wrong? It's all preference, I don't see why it's such a big deal putting pineapple on pizza...
Pizza toppings at our family restaurant: garlic, beefstrips, green pepper, chicken strips, pineapple, feta cheese, caramelized onion, avocado, ham, anjovis, peppadews, biltong, mushrooms, blue cheese, salami, chilies, Parmesan cheese, haloumi, calamari, mussels, shrips. And everyone one of those toppings have been used one time or another in our build your own pizza theme, so there are a lot of people who like different things on their pizzas. Do you mean to say that vegetarians shouldn't eat pizza then?
I always thought American pizza was just greasy and overloaded with cheese. That's how I picture your typical New York pizza. Italian pizza is healthier and not as fatty and usually made with fresh ingredients. Now I want pizza.
