2001 Toyota 4Runner, it is green and I named it Andy after the Andy in Toy Story and AndyMark (one of my favorite places to get parts for my projects).
How good has it been for you, AG? Does it have a lot of miles? They put those in rental fleets quite a bit. I can't believe how good the gas mileage is for being a fairly heavy car?
I'm not that tiger..lol. I cannot hit a golf ball to save my life. Although, I can at least bat them around pretty well. But I guess that's against the rules or something. I'm not well versed in human sports..
I love my car! It's a 2007 ford Taurus. I got it simply because the safety ratings are amazing and it runs well I also have it paid off so I jokingly say I will be taking it to the grave with me
My dad had it for 3 years and put 100,000 miles on it from driving 100 miles to work and back every day. I think it gets something like 26 mpg, and it's been pretty much problem-free after being constantly abused for 3 years. It takes a little more pressure on the brakes than in other cars, but other than that, it's fine. I wish my parents would drive it once in a while when I'm not there, as they let it sit for 3 months in the bitter winter, and when I was back there last month, surprise, it didn't start. I had to pour more water in the battery to get it started. I drove a 2014 Impala while volunteering one night, and it's almost exactly the same as my 2009 Impala. Same dashboard, same stereo, same upholstery, the only thing different was that the steering wheel was leather and it had a spoiler on top of the trunk. ---------- Post added 1st Apr 2014 at 03:58 PM ---------- I don't really have any brand loyalty at all. That was just my dad's car before he bought a new one. My mom used be 100% dedicated to Buick, and drove an '84 Skylark, a '95 Regal that she passed onto my dad when he totaled his car with a deer, and a '99 Regal with a supercharged engine. But then she got to drive my grandma's Chrysler Town and Country when we went to Florida one year and she just had to have one for herself. My dad only had loyalty to Chevrolet because back then, his brother worked for a Chevy dealership and if he bought from that dealership, he got all sorts of family discounts just for having a brother who worked there, so he bought his '03 Impala and '09 Impala there. He then bought a used Toyota Corolla from a local dealership. My boyfriend is a big Cadillac freak. But I like individual vehicles for the way they drive and how I fit into them, not just because they're made by a specific company. The last two times I've volunteered with the campus safe ride organization, (we rent the cars from Enterprise) I drove a 2014 Nissan Altima. That was a nice car. I also like the Toyota Camry, as my boyfriend has a 2002 Camry, as does my grandmother, who also has a Toyota Celica convertable. My grandparents were dedicated Toyota owners.
Definitely a story of some sort there. Right now when I am driving it's an old 2000 Alero. Whenever I start making a yearly salary I'll be looking for something that's cheap but with good gas mileage.
I'm still getting weekly bamboo as part of the settlement for my lawsuit. My lawyer, the Weasel, did great ^^
I hired a snake, and he didn't do too bad for me. Lets just say I haven't had to go on the hunt for a while thanks to him.
And here I made the mistake of hiring a honey badger to represent me. The trouble was, he just didn't care, and ending up eating the snake the other guy had as his lawyer. The judge was not impressed.
I repled to this thread ages ago.. but I decided to come back to it and post a picture of my gorgeous car
