Heya, I’d like to consider I eat pretty healthily. Lots of vegetables, fruit, a lot of fish, almost no red meat and no fizzy drinks. I don’t eat fast food very often. Granted, I’m a few thousand miles from any of the big chains, but even when I’m in Europe/America/Asia, I don’t like to eat it. Except for days like these. I have these cravings for fast food right now. I’m thinking about a Five Guys Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries and a milkshake. Or, Chipotle burrito, with chicken, guacamole, sour cream and all the little extras. Oh, so good. So, I’d like to ask you, the collectivity, what’s your favorite fast food? If you could indulge right now, what chain would it be? What would you order?
Five Guys is the absolute best burger I've ever had. #2 is Halo Burger, a chain that only has 13 locations in Genessee County, Oakland County, Ingham County, and Livingston County, Michigan, and voted by readers of the Detroit News as the best burger in Michigan. #3 is a local favorite in Ann Arbor: Krazy Jim's Blimpy Burger, who unfortunately this summer, closed until they find a new building. Here's a typical burger from the place:
I don't really eat fast food. There is one place I love which has really good fried rice, but that's pretty much the only fast food I eat. The normal fast food makes me sick; I'm just not used to eating it.
Many. The McDonald's Big Mac, the Burger King Whopper, the In 'N' Out Double-Double, and the Big Boy double deck ... then there are others which are served at stand-alone places for fast food and burgers.
Yummm... Fried rice is excellent too. I don't know if this counts but there's a vegetarian restaurant that serves the best orange glaze "chicken." Love it!
I've been eating fast food everyday since sunday (I hadn't eaten any junk food since last year lol) but I just can't be asked to cook for myself when I'm alone these past few days. But I basically prefer whichever is closest I don't have a preference x)
it is really hard to get Vegan fast food in the USA most of it is really awful processed the heck out of and expensive Chipotle has some burrito's that are good
I like pizza. I don't go to McDonalds often. It lost its appeal to me after I became a vegetarian cause there is not much you can eat there that doesn't have meat.
I don't really eat a lot of fast food. Once in a while I'll go and get a breakfast sandwich if I'm up early on a weekend. The one place I am quite fond of is Arby's, but they're not particularly close to me, so I don't go often. Also, Moes has very good burritos, and you get free chips and salsa. Since I found out the latter, I haven't been back to Chipotle. Five Guys does have great burgers, but they're so greasy - so much so, that for me, it's hard to enjoy them.
Do you think that might be dependent on the branch? Because the one I go to in either D.C or in the neighboring Maryland area, is always perfectly done - without too much grease. Also, pizza. Mmm, I used to order Domino’s pizza when there would be a good football (American) game to watch. My typical order would be medium sized pizza with bacon and egg on top. An order of barbecue wings (20 piece) and some cinastix. Oh, I could go for some cinastix right now.
Heart attack on a plate: Fish, chips (also known as Glaswegian salad), mushy peas and mild curry sauce (with gravy being a very good substitute). Only tastes good whilst drunk at 3am.
Possibly, though they've been that way at two Florida locations I've been to. Maybe it's a regional thing. Sort of related - their fries are delicious. I could go there just for the fries. I guess I don't really think of pizza as fast food. I get it just about every week though. My favorite pizza is probably the double-bacon six cheese from Papa Johns. Delicious. Also terribly unhealthy, but so delicious.
I really like the Kettle Brand Potato Chips. Specifically, the Sea Salt Krinkle Cut ones. I also like pizza (I like whole wheat thin crust, since white bread tastes like Styrofoam. I eat pizza with everything on it.), hamburgers (One patty is plenty, and I like it with a lot of vegetables. But not iceberg lettuce.), tacos (burritos just aren't as crunchy), and basically every fast food but Chinese takeout. Chinese takeout isn't as good as the real thing. Not even close. :icon_bigg Hey, at least I'm willing to eat pretty much any vegetable, right?
I like Arby's a simple roast beef an curly fries. I also get free chipotle every two months because I donate blood, so I am kinda partial to them as well.
Oh my god, Chipotle. I haven't had Chipotle in ages, there's just not one near me. We have a Moe's, which is still pretty nice for a vegan.
There are several Halal carts around campus where I purchase chicken over rice. It consists of yellow rice topped with chicken marinated with spices. It's topped with tzatziki and hot sauce. So yummy ^_^
