Sounds like there might be something stressing your dog out. Have there been any major changes recently? (eg moving) Have you been separated from her for awhile? (eg going on a trip and getting someone else to look after her)
The going away bit almost sounds like she suffers from separation anxiety. My dog will tear the house apart if left alone. Has she always been like this when left alone? For the rest, she's probably picking up on your emotions and thinks you'll need her.
Has anything unusual happened lately? Has she been left alone for unusually long amounts of time, or accidentally left behind? Anything that could set off this clingyness?
Not saying you have diabetes but some breeds can sense high or low blood sugar in their owners. Other dogs can sense an oncoming epileptic seizure. They can certainly pick-up on your mood.
Exercise the dog. Walks, runs, fetch, et cetera... Dogs that don't get enough exercise get bored and boredom leads to anxiety, anxiety leads to clinginess and destructive behavior.
I took her on a walk tonight and she shit on the side walk. I had her to go poop in our yard and i was going take her up to the corner to poop and while we were walk, she ended up pooping on the side walk. She does this every fucking time.
Ok. She's picking up on your anxiety and becoming anxious herself. Some steps to take: 1. Excercise -walk her twice a day, 45mins each 2. Discipline - make sure she knows where she stands, she is invading your space but followers do not invade the leader's space. Don't let her get away with stuff, be firm. 3. Reward good behaviour with affection at appropriate times. She may have issues from the past, but put them past you so that you both move on. When you walk her, have her walk behind or next to you at all times. Above all good luck!
I have a female dog which is very highly strung herself and can get very stressed about things. It doesn't help when she sees me getting anxious and depressed which is something I suffer from frequently. She usually is able to sense when I'm not feeling right and will either sit and stare at me or she will come up to me and try and comfort me, we usually comfort each other! I understand at times you may need space and sometimes I feel that way too. Though understand that the love that our pets can have for us can be far greater than we could ever imagine and the loyalty/devotion you get from a dog far surpasses anything another human being could ever give us! Also our pets are only here for such a short time, cherish the moments you have with them.
