Video Games that made you cry?

Mass Effect 3 for me, what a depressing game to end the awesome trilogy

 

Which ending did you choose?

 

I don't remember. Lol I think the Synthesis ending if I remember correctly

 

Tales of Legendia. that ending made me cry so hard. all the feels ;-;

 

Finally finished season one of Telltale's The Walking Dead the other day, and oh my god, I've never cried so hard from a video game. I even knew what was going to happen, but it was still such a sad ending. ;_;

 

I almost cried at the ending of Okami ;~;

 

The Last of Us. The ending was just predictable but it left me in tears, hell the whole story left me in tears, one of my favorite games of all time

 

This was quite some years ago but i finished one of the Sly Cooper games (I was little) and the final cutscene made me cry so hard.

Also, oddly i had a freaksih mental break down for no reason after playing (not beating) Jak and Daxter 2 .-.

 

Gone Home. I was bawling by the end of it.

 

Virtues Last Reward Luna's good ending. I cried through the whole scene. So much feels in that one ending!

 

I've just played Persona 4 recently. I rarely cry at anything, but even thinking about what happens to Nanako still makes me cry. Poor Nanako... :tears:

 

Oh man, you've reminded me that I need to go back and finish all of the endings. Someday...

 

Mother 3 made me tear up a bit. Some of The Legend of Zelda series also.
And Fire Emblem: Awakening... Just that moment when Emmeryn sacrifices herself... And the chapter after that. I was screaming "WHY CAN'T YOU JUST LEAVE CHROM ALONE?! HIS SISTER JUST KILLED HERSELF TO STOP WHAT YOU'RE DOING!!" right at my 3DS screen. It was heartbreaking.

Gears of War. They bring so far into everyone's life, they kill them. It was horrible.

 

World In Conflict, when Captain Bannon died. The fact that he screwed up so often and was such a jerkass made it even sadder, in my opinion, because it showed that underneath the incompetent exterior he really did want to do good.

Dragon Age can have quite a few, such as if the Arl's wife kills her son, if The Warden, Alistair, or Loghain (especially Loghain) dies killing the archdemon, and some of the speeches before the final battle.

Mass Effect has too many to count, especially in 3.

 

Oh yea Mortal Combat because my brother wouldnt let me win

 

The very end of Portal 2.

When I completed Ico, I almost cried. It left me with a very empty, melancholic feeling.

Mass Effect as well, and Final fantasy IX.

 

the most depressing part about the ending of portal 2 is that chell now has to live in the half life world. apparently they share a universe.

 

Beyond: Two Souls had its moments ~

 

Final Fantasy X, when Tidus learned that Yuna would have to die and her acting everything was ok and in the end when Tidus says goodbye to Yuna. FFX-2 gave them a happy ending but that game was rubbish. The game that left me in tears was "The Last of Us" I was in tears when his daughter died and when he called Ellie "baby girl".
