I'm going to be really sad when school starts, I won't be able to basically live here anymore. Blargy blarg.

I just got back from family reunion. Less than half of us were there; there were only about 30 people.

I liked him a lot, I know- we were friends, after all. But did I actually have a crush on him...?

I hate this stupid redneck town.

 

My friend that I thought was level-headed is just as big a hypocrite as everyone else. Awesome.

 

For once I wish my mother would realize she isn't the only one who has it hard. Makes it worse when she laughs at us when we tell her about our hard days. I think she's the reason I'm turning into a one-upper. I'm glad I caught that early.

This is really tough to deal with and I'm sorry that you have to. I had a stepmother who was like this.

Once, I had just come home from four days in the hospital and I was sick from the meds they had me on to make me better and between classes I threw up seven times on the main street of campus. It was awful. One of my least favorite days ever. And when I told her this, she scoffed at me and told me that the doctors and patients at work were snooty to her or something.

Yuck. But I hear you, it's hard, and a lot of times people who act like their problems are the only ones worth noting aren't in a hurry to change their ways or even consider that they're wrong... (*hug*)

 

Arguing with a Christian fundamentalist right now over his wife's sexuality. It's so bizarre. He says that because she used to be with women but is now with him, she's an ex-lesbian. I said there was no such thing, she's just bisexual. He says that no she prayed the gay away and found some self-esteem, which has completely derailed the entire debate and I am just so frustrated. People can be so ignorant and stupid. I really wish I could just glimpse into the future and see how irrelevant people like him will actually be, because everyone knows it's coming.

So, on tv, there was this video of some lady getting too close to a polar bear cage, and it grabbed her and bit her thigh, and wouldn't let go, and then it kept pulling her and she kept banging into the cage.


...I was laughing

 

Was the bear's name Binky? Because we had a polar bear by that name steal a woman's shoe years and years ago.
