    I have noting purple, so I'm just wearing a rainbow armband. It has a few slivers of purple at least. >>

    Thanks, my boyfriend convinced me to wear this collection of the tabs from monster energy drinks he made. I've strung them together in a rainbow pattern, I'm going to wear it, but I will have it hidden under my shirt. I know this sort of defeats the purpose, but I am trying to take a first step.

    I had no purple. so i searched through a tonne of old clothes until i found a hoodie. I'm wearing it right now. I also got my friend to wear purple for me.

    There were a lot of people in my school wearing purple today. ^-^

    Probably around 5-7 kids per classroom (30 kids on average) so about 1/6 of the entire school. That's a rough estimate, but it looked accurate at lunch.

    I was happy ^_^

    I was called a homo on the bus today though, by a bunch of people who knew what it was. The minute we all got to school though they shut up because there was a group of about 30 people all wearing purple (NHS; they had to wear purple today and they meet outside on nice mornings)

    My friend was wearing a purple shirt at school today and I was like "what's that for" and she was like "For all the gay kids who commit suicide". Other people knew. Wow.

    I wore a purple belt, because i have nothing else that's purple. It was sort of hidden by my hoodie, but someone brought it up and i got to show it then!

    I wore a purple sweater vest and saw about ten other people throughout the day with purple shirts (a girl even had on purple pants). It was really unifying I think because those who were in around here seemed to wear it with pride. Here's to hoping that those who saw us all with purple understood the message.

    My friends said that a lot of kids at their school were wearing purple, they said even the kids they would expect to be homophobic were. It was nice to hear and when I met up with them after they got out I noticed that a lot of people were wearing purple. It was cool.

    I had two purple shirts on, purple pants, hat, bracelets, shoes underwear and socks =D

    Wore a purple shirt today, and noticed quite a few people from school wearing purple :slight_smile:
    I personally didn't get any crap about it, but I did hear a few people arguing against it. The only one that really got me a little angry was the whole "theres tons of people who commit suicide each year, why do the gay ones get a special day?" All I could think was that no one said there couldn't be a day for the rest of the people...:stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    I wore a shirt that has a ton of white, green, and purple vertical stripes... the only thing I own that has purple in it anymore.

    So I wore them...my shirt wasn't on my side and they kept being uncovered. I finally gave up on covering them and pretended I didn't care if people saw. I relaxed when I saw about five or six people wearing purple. One was a straight guy in a purple shirt, that made me feel a lot better. My boyfriend has asked me to wear them again tomorrow so we'll see if things go the same.
