My art is how I live. I strive to live with a certain amount of beauty, a rhythm in my movements, a familiar pattern in my speech, a painted contrast in my thoughts. The universe is my canvas, my brush, my palette, and my inspiration. In this way I try to make the world more beautiful with everything i do, everything i create. I don't always succeed, but I try enough to occasionally contribute to the world. I'm not the best, but I try enough to consider myself an artist.
Mainly I draw. With a pencil. And occasionally a hand. I also do graphic art, and I write very horrible teleplays out of boredom sometimes.
I like to think I can write. Though I can't rank myself as beginner or expert - certainly not either of those extremes. I've been writing for fun since about fourth grade. (I still have my stories from back then! They're awesome!) I love writing historical fiction and all other sorts of fiction, especially fantasy. The thing about my writing though is that I really have to be in the mood for it, which is sorta a rare occurance! Not expecting to be famous and especially not rich from it. Hence me doing a degree in computer science.
I chose photography, since that's the art form I do most actively. Otherwise though, I can pick about five or six plus. (Musician, "Drawer", Painter, Sculptor, Writer, and Other [which includes illustrations or mixed media, calligraphy/typography, graphic design, etc.] I live for art.
I can draw with any type of medium, pencil, ink, charciol, paint, pastels, etc, I also did drama for three years. also, apparently a friend thought i would do well as a fashion designer.
I can draw various things, mainly just cars, dinosaurs, dragons and medieval weaponry (example of a car is in my Uni life album) I can draw other things too, but they take too long and I lose interest so they dont turn out too good.
I heart words. I love writing, and, though I don't expect to make a solid income, I intend to at least get published. I mostly write shorter stories, and I recently began to dabble in flash fiction.
i draw...doodle...i don't know i guess i'm pretty ok at it. I almost decided on illustration as my college major (comic books) but now i don't know. Oh and i think you can tell animation and computer art is not my forte :lol:
I love art, especially life drawing, but am far more a scientist than an artist. I have been drawing for as long as I can remeber though and always really enjoyed it, but can be quite eratic. I seem to go from doing nothing for ages to not being able to stop! I don't really think of it in terms of levels - I just do it for myself.
im a lot into music, i play 4 instruments... piano, guitar, clarinet, and trombone. Ialso LOVE to sing. I draw too; sometimes some random but cool drawings... like a while ago i drew a fetus in some sort of bubble.. i didnt know what it meant... but it looked cool. i TRY to write songs... its REALLYhard for me and i dont know why, but i try not to give up... if i had to chose between music and art as in drawing, i'd deffinitely pick music
I am a bad guitarist. Also I draw and paint a bit - more traditionally than digitally although I'm getting into graphic design. :/ I also like writing, though I usually don't do too much of it on my own, but for English essays I enjoy writing them and I usually get good marks. I'd like to get into sculpting, and as for the 'other' category, I've handmade some books if that counts.
Every now and then I draw or paint or make collages to de-stress, but I wouldn't consider myself good at it or anything. Just something I do for fun, and to train the right side of my brain - I'm very left brained xD
