What are you thinking?

Life is hard, but we have to be strong. Overcoming anxiety is difficult for me, just throwing myself headfirst at jobs/tasks with the satisfying thought of having them over and accomplished… It’s a new day.

 

I think so too. It’s scary.

 

Hoping that when I'm done adding mods to Fallout 4, I'll still have room in my load order for Fallout: London and any requirements it has.

My mother keeps telling me I’m fat and I don’t know why she keeps telling me. Does she think I don’t know. I know I’m overweight and obese but calling me fat but serving me a plate of French fries and other fattening things for dinner is counterproductive. I think she’s fat shaming me and whenever I tell her that she insists she’s not. So next time she brings up my weight I’ll tell her how old she looks. All those years of smoking and not wearing sunscreen took a toll on her skin. It’s not mean if it’s true, right?

 

I think one of the trickiest parts of life is making a decision and sticking to it. Yet if you don't, if you simply choose no path, then you become tired and lethargic. Which is a horrid feeling.

Do you ever just feel like you're at a crossroads, but instead of picking a direction to walk in, you just fall face first into the ground? Yeah. That basically sums it up.

I have to keep reminding myself that where I am now in life is not necessarily where I'll be later on.

 

I have nothing to do. I just spent the last 9 hours playing Disney dreamlight valley. I didn’t realize I was playing so long and outdid the time I played 5 hours of Animal Crossing. I guess video games really are addictive.

 

It's way too hot. Winter is so much better than summer.

 

This is the worst build-up for a champions league final for a long as I can remember.

 

Personally Autumn is my favourite. I love the oranges and browns. Not as big a fan of Winter, the lack of sunlight tends to leave me feeling depressed.

Or a general feeling of discomfort, that you can't make any sense of, ever go away, or is this just a not so cool feature of adulthood?

 

I think about everything and nothing at the same time. Sometimes I often don't have words to voice my feelings. Lately, I've been going through a writer's block....maybe because I can be too much of a perfectionist? I went to pride this weekend in my city...it went better than I thought. I was afraid of there being bigots and other hateful asses that wanted to do something to us for just simply existing and being ourselves. I often find myself afraid to go to sleep and figuratively sleep with one eye open.

Somehow I manage to keep myself functioning though. Maybe I'm just going through the motions, counting down the days until I can leave this hellhole of a state. Part of me wishes I didn't have to leave however...but I no longer feel safe here....ESPECIALLY with how much anti-trans/LGBTQ+ laws have been passed in my state and other surrounding red states...it's so nightmarish out there. I ask myself what the hell is happening every damn day.

As stupid as this may sound, I have trouble wearing shirts that are red, white and blue or that say anything "America" or "USA" on them...because there are people out there that literally hate my guts and my community just for simply existing. It's hard to call America "the land of the free" when several groups of people are continuing to face oppression and discrimination and other things of that nature on a daily basis or getting laws passed against our existence...How the hell is that freedom? It makes it hard for me to celebrate the 4th of July or any other related holidays...it's not because I hate America...far from it...it's because I know I'm not actually free to be myself according to some groups of people and their supposed "God."

In all those satisfying power washing videos online they don’t mention that you’ll be covered with a layer of grit. The power washer shot some grit from the ground into my eye. I spent the next hour trying to rinse out my eye. I’m not convinced I succeeded because it didn’t stop hurting until the next day. I’d rather leave it to the professionals.

 

How people show their imaginations from art and literature to technological advancements?
