Yay! I did it! I am finally out to all of my family and all my friends, and I don't have to hide myself from the people I care about the most anymore! Just wanted to share my joy and relief with you, because I've been struggeling with coming out for five years, and you have been a wonderful support all the times I've needed it <3 Have a good week! <3

Thanks a lot for the support! They took it very well, and I am so lucky to have such a great and accepting family. My aunt and cousin said that they had always known, and the others were not very surprised, and gave me a lot of support. I don't know why I've been postponing and avoiding this for five years, but I guess it has always been easier to just chicken out and deal with it some other time. It is also difficult to find a good moment to come out, and I eventually realized that I had to make that moment myself and not wait for the opportunity to magically occur. I started my coming out journey a little more than a year ago, and I'm so proud to have told all the most important ones. I know that I have to continue coming out for the rest of my life, but it is a big relief that all the people who are close to me know now. I am so thankfull for all the people here on EC who has helped and supported me these last five years <33
