Looking Back - Nostalgia

My ‘looking back nostalgia’ threshold is about one of my best friends. All through adolescence and my twenties I’ve had a crush on him and it took all my will power and self restraint not to flirt with him or to reach over to kiss him. It was a battle to hold these feeling in. I still go weak at the knees when I’m with him but Instead of fighting these feelings I embrace, enjoy and look forward to the feelings that come over me when I’m with him.
And, I still want to reach over and kiss him
I get to see him this weekend!

 

Adz6, I know the feeling of wanting to kiss a friend. Sometimes guys can be so hot and have no clue how cute they’re being. It’s great you are getting to see him again and this time get to enjoy being with someone you can now admit to yourself you have the hots for. Does he know you are gay?

eron, I love being able to now enjoy the male form without the baggage or worry of someone knowing I like gay porn. Getting to view something that turned you on years ago again now can be very reassuring that you are meant to be with men and you are right to find them attractive. For me old TV shows and movies that had guys in them that I liked are fun to watch again and not deny I find them hot.

 

I can remember being a little too touchy with certain friends growing up. In middle and high school letting a few boys get a little touchy with me as well.

Despite getting a bit turned on by boys when I was younger I was in denial about my same sex attractions. It wasn’t until looking at gay porn that I realized I’m much more turned on by men together than women. Not sure if I’m gay or bi though.

I recently saw a guy I grew up with who I had a big crush on as a teenager. Seeing him again now after having sex with men and coming out as gay really settled the idea for me that I was always gay. He still made me swoon a little, but is straight and has a wife. It is completely understandable why women go crazy for hot men. Seeing them can have such a strong emotional effect. Enjoying it instead of fighting it is so much better.

 

As someone who is gay I can tell you seeing naked woman in porn turns me off. Not that all gay men get turned off by naked girls but it was a pretty big sign for me that I definitely wanted a husband some day and not a wife. Do you still enjoy seeing woman in porn or would you be happier if everyone in it was a good looking man?

 

I’ve never been able to understand the attraction of straight porn. I find it boring.
I enjoyed the feelings that came over me yesterday. It brought back so many great memories, even the sly quick lustfull looks I was throwing him way were enjoyable.

 

So fun being able to express gay feelings you have openly. Accepting your homosexuality and then being able to flirt with men is a wonderful thing. I take it you did not let him catch on but you never know he might have wished you did.

 

Naked or semi naked women whether in real life or porn is a huge turnoff. Frankly it simply grosses me out these days. Can’t imagine how I ever faked it for so long. The idea of sexual intimacy with a woman now is repulsive to me now. More confirmation that I am % gay now and forever.

 

That guy for me is gay and married with kids. Those were two things I had thought would never could be hampered me a lot

It can still do it for me, but it has to be just right.fake boobs and fake orgasms don't interest me. I prefer gay porn, except when it is obvious that the guy doesn't want to be there.

 

I don’t know really some what yes, but I’m also attracted to men and really the idea of two men together is kind of exciting.

The weird thing is emotionally more likely women but sexually I more often fantasize about men, with women maybe checking out her legs and feet but with guys I want touch them all over.
Ironically most my girl crushes growing up we’re either gay or bi themselves. My two best friends from middle school are both gay themselves, this was also around the time I was first accused of being gay.

I guess I had some unrecognized boy crushes but it wasn’t until I was 17/18/19 did I allow myself to enjoy my attraction to boys and sneak into gay chat rooms and yes what I experienced was bigger than anything from females. So I guess I’m leaning more towards gay. I defiantly watch gay porn more than anything else.

By the way the function we were at was an all male rugby fund raiser, there was so many good looking men there, at the end of the night I had a sore neck with all the twisting it was doing looking at them all

Which is rare, even when it's 'gay for pay'. Although straight guys pretend to be totally grossed out by the idea of having sex with another guy they find it surprisingly easy to perform and get into it, when the situation arises. Guys want sex, it really is that simple.

I think most of us can look back to a time when many jigsaw pieces of our sexuality came together. We may not have seen it or understood it when it happened, but with our nostalgia glasses in place it all comes into focus.

 

For me emotional connection with women comes easy but it is strictly platonic. The idea of seeing them naked or hanging sex with them is for me the same as a straight woman’s. There is just no appeal to it at all. I only want men and love being in a relationship with them as much as having sex with them. I don’t think I could be happy seeing myself as gay if I only had a sexual desire to be with them. When I think of love I think of it being with a man. This makes me a homosexual maybe more than what I watch to get off or the very gay things I do with a man in between the sheets.

I also hope those thinking you are gay didn’t make you feel like it was something bad to be. If someone thinks I’m gay I more liken it to someone just noticing what color my eyes are. I try not to think of it as something I can be accused of. But can understand how this is the way you felt when people thought you liked men. The truth is men are attractive and there is nothing wrong with being turned on by them.

 

I can certainly connect with women for the normal give and take of personal or professional communication. Occasionally even enjoy their social company however have zero emotional or physical connection to them in the least. The idea of them naked these days just seems disgusting to me. I in no way tried to force this feeling towards them it just naturally evolved as I further embraced my homosexuality.

Maybe they knew before I did but gay was always used as an insult So maybe that delayed me accepting my attraction to other boys growing up, but I’m definitely attracted to men and always have had that attraction.

The idea of being with a man is extremely erotic and sexy.

 

I hope you don’t see it as an insult now. Allowing myself to live a gay life has made me so happy that I like the idea of people knowing what is causing this joy. I feel I am lucky that I can see the beauty in men the way lots of woman do. About half the planet finds men attractive and we are just included in that half. It is nothing to be ashamed of or weird. It is natural. Men were designed to have sexual appeal and we can just recognize it.

I too was assumed by some that I was gay before I saw it in myself.
