Weird tangent here but, do you ever feel like seeing or hearing about straight couples is weird? Not that I think it's gross or hate them, I just feel like being gay is more normal than being straight? I don't know if that makes sense but yeah I'm wondering if anyone else feels that same way.

I can't say that it ever has. Seeing gay couples did for a while only because it wasn't something I saw much

For me it's a matter of perspective ig. If I've never had straight feelings then I guess I don't understand the way straight people might not understand our community. Idk, I just feel as if when I'm stuck in my own world, and then I realize straight people exist it kinda feels jarring to me lol.

Also depends who or what friend group I'm currently in and whether I'm doing theater/visual art at the time or not lol

Also I can't be straight because I'm non-binary and pan lol so that's not a possiblity for me anyway.

Not at all for me. I love seeing couples of all kinds. I always find it endearing, so long as it's sincere, but I'm a hopeless romantic, so...

Not at all. Gay, bisexual, straight, it's all normal for me. If anything, when I see a gay couple, I'm a little bit jealous because while a couple of people have guessed (I've neither confirmed or denied) for the most part I'm still in the closet.

Somehow, I'm quite confident in myself, I don't find being a straight weird in a self-concious way. I just think it's off-putting. Like I'm very happy to be quite "flavorful" with people if you will, so I don't mind me being out of place, it makes me feel even more special in a sense. Like a peacock among pigeons.

Idk how to put it I just don't feel self-conscious. I think it's because I already told my parents (who are homophobes btw) so I don't rlly care about other people's opinions that much. I don't reccomend doing what I did tho I came out to soon. Also I'm in theater so that's probably another factor. I'm mostly confident in myself however.

Not really. They just run to a different beat to me.

Also, I don't immediately assume a man and woman together are straight. They could be bisexual.

Yes… especially with the abundance of unhappy straight couples I’ve met… my brain is just thinking it’s totally unnatural. Cishet people are a mystery.

No. The ones I see seem to be more into each other than some of the gay and lesbian couples I see. At the end of the film "Far From Heaven," the main actor had left his wife for a much younger man. The person I went to see it with leaned over and said, "I give it four months." I see some same sex pairs where I think the same thing.
