I studied classical piano when I was younger so I love some classical. Favourite composers are Rachmaninov and Beethoven along with some Chopin. I love most genres, including electronic dance music, smooth jazz, drum and bass, trance, ambient, chill out, some heavy rock (not metal). I also love Scottish trad music. My list is really endless! Some of my favourite artists are Chicane, camo and krooked, Matrix and future bound, Wolfstone, Enter the Haggis, Annie Lennox, Lady Gaga, Sharleen Spiteri, Sia, Ellie Goulding, ahhh it goes on and on and on I love music over the different decades as well.
Spotify says pop, rock, dance/electronic and indie -Lorde, Borns, Lifehouse, The Fray, Big Wreck, Linkin Park, Avicii, kesha etc
Old Country and Jazz or Blues because I play the Alto Saxophone and I like to play Jazz and Blues the most
I don't know the answer to this. Sometimes I listen to radio music and pop music when I just need background noise. In that sense, it's my favorite, as I don't have to listen very intently. But I find country and folk music to be the most musical, pleasing, and enjoyable, so I listen to that when I'm happy or feeling peaceful. I also listen to angry music when I'm angry, or upset, or frustrated, or overwhelmed, so I listen to a lot of electronic music or rock or "alternative" but I think alternative is a stupid term. I tend to pay A LOT of attention to lyrics and themes as well as instruments... rather than pitch or even rhythm, traditional aspects. My favorite genres are folk, country, bluegrass, blues even, and instrumental music. This is because I resonate with the themes very strongly... I don't really like the themes of other popular music at all and lyrics are very important to me. I tend to listen to a lot of music as I own a radio and listen to many many many programs and I think that music actually shapes or reflects a huge part of how we see and understand the world.
I like quite a mix, but my two favourite artists (Sigur Ros and Godspeed You! Black Emperor) both fall under the post-rock bracket. I also like bands like Radiohead, Coheed and Cambria, Pink Floyd, etc, but I'm equally at home listening to soothing ambient music on YouTube.
I’ve always been a fan of jazz and soul, so I usually listen to Seal and Michael Bolton. I also listen to Michael Ball and Pavarotti.
If I want to have fun just jamming out usually it’s rock, pop, or country. The others are more reserved for pick me ups when I’m feeling down about something.
i love metal, prog rock, funk, grunge, 80s music, jazz, rap/hip hop, r&b, and a bit of everything else... kind of a mixed bag but i like to have different things to listen to depending on how im feeling, the mood, etc. it's good to branch out and discover different things! i usually listen to songs that i find interesting and/or evoke emotions. theres nothing worse to me than stuff that sounds boring, unemotional, or like everything else thats been created during that time period. im not big on a lot of contemporary music because i just find that a lot of stuff right now sounds a bit bland to me but i love tyler the creator and lil nas x. tyler just released an album and lil nas x is going to release one but he's also dropping his new song on friday... really looking forward to it!
I'm going to argue that Jacob Collier qualifies as a genre, because his music is so diverse it doesn't fit into any one genre. He goes from acoustic folk to orchestral/neo classical, to rap/funk, to jazz. Otherwise... it would be hard to pick a single genre for me. It's a wide range of jazz, 80s rock, soft rock, and some classical.

My favourite music is either like synthy soundtrack music (blade runner, stranger things) or 80's pop or even 80's themed pop. modern rap and r&b
It totally depends on my mood. I have a diverse taste. At the moment I have been enjoying Troye Sivan's stuff so it is pop right now.
